I have 2 trainers that vouch and also say that what happened to our horse did happen under her full knowledge. I also have 3 other people that say that they rode our horse while we were not at the stable. We might not be expert horse owners because we bought the horse of our daughter but we are not totally oblivious of common horse ettiquette. You just don't lend boarded horses to total strangers. That's the bottom line. If she is saying that she had no knowledge of this going on, again, she got caught in her lie about being a good owner and always being there at the stables. That means she was not there since this happened quite a bit.
Only the truth will pervail.

We live on the property, are proven professionals and try to monitor all activity on the ranch but can not possibly be here every minute of every day-if someone else rode their horse it was only under the guidance of their "hired" trainer. When a horse owner contracts a trainer to work with their horse all agreements about riding and training that horse are between owner and trainer, not the boarding facility.
Our contract stipulates nothing about riding nor does it state anywhere in our contract that we will prohibit riding, we are not the horse's owner, it is not our right to do so. This horse belonged to people who are not seasoned horse owner's and being such have no idea what a boarding vs. trainer's responsibility are. Furthermore, at no time was this horse out of the trainer's care and the horse was being actively advertised for sale which justified the trainer letting people try it for possible sale, if that did ever even happen.
I feel, as do the trainers at our facility, that these remarks are slanderous, unfounded and completely uneducated. We have the written contracts that prove we provided exactly the services we said we would.
