this comp. took $79.95 out my bank for a so called FREE credit report. It looks like there are K's of us that it has happened to.

Credit Moniter Ripoff Solution

AUTHOR: Steven - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 15, 2004

Hi Ronald,

That's pretty expensive for a Credit Monitering service. I have one connected to my cards for only about $4.99 a month. I would question any Credit Monitering at that price. Can you contact them direct? Your bank should have a phone number if they took money out. If not search for them on the net and see what you find. If you don't have any luck contacting them, see if you can dispute with your bank. I would also suggest filing complaints with the Attorney General (if there are K's of people, then there should be K's of complaints - the more complaints the higher likely-hood of them getting investigated).

Good Luck!
