the dealership sent the payoff payment on 07/20/05 but citifinancial claims the payment was not recieved by them untill 07/29/05, three days late. the distance between these two cities is only 65 miles - about one hour drive time and now they claim it took nine days to reach them.
i called citifinancial and the customer service rep was very rude and would not even try to help. the dealerships financial rep called them and the same story,rude and would not budge on the 'payoff being late'. this gives Snail Mail a whole new meaning-65 miles in 9 days!
the late fee was $19.98 but is now $311.93! i really believe that citifinancial recieved the payoff in ample time but is doing their best to rip me off,someone who did them right by paying on time.
DO NOT use citifinancial/arcadia/transouth as a auto loan source if a dealership tries to sell this as a new/used car loan source. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! they will rip you off!

maybe citifinancial is not so bad afterall-they just wanted what was due to them.every time i called customer service, they were very helpful, except the one time when the lady was a complete ass.
i think the rippoff reports really works!
