I have a 2007 Mazda CX7. I heard a noise in the timing chain area, so i called Classic Mazda and told them, and they said to bring it in. I brought it in, and they just listened to the noise, and determined that it was my timing chain. So, i had them do the work to make the noise go away. after they did the work, the noise was gone. I was happy at that point. About 2 months after they did the work, i started hearing the same noise again. So this time they want to tear it open to find out exactly what it is, and thay want to charge me again, even though i have a year warranty.
But they never tore it open from the begining to determine the problem. well to find out on my paper work, it says that they replaced ALL RELATED PARTS. Well to find out, thats NOT TRUE. My potential problem this time could be my hydraulic tensioner, which they never replaced. So, i told them, that the paper work says, and ALL RELATED PARTS. So, that tensioner should have been replaced too.

Still DID NOT honor there waranty

After several phone calls to classic mazda, they still will not honor there waranty. So, after several calls, the manager told me they will not deal with me anymore, even though i still have a valid waranty with them on my car. I also took my car to cory fairbanks mazda, which they tried to help me the best they could, since i did not get my car repaired there. so, cory fairfanks mazda said to take it back to classic, that they heard the timing chain noise, and have classic fix it.
well, i took my car back to classic mazda, and told them what cory fairbanks mazda said, and classic managers, was really talking bad about cory fairbanks mazda, saying they dont know what there talking about, and that they dont have any master mechanics, and so on. So, at that point i felt like i was in the middle of 2 of the same companies, which really, it was classic dissing cory fairbanks. Well, i told cory fairbanks what classic said, and cory fairbanks said that they say stuff about us all the time, because we out sale them all the time.
Well, at the end of it all, i still dont have classic honoring there customer (me), and not honoring there waranty. Until classic steps up to the plate and puts there money where there mouth is, and make it right with there waranty, this post will always remain for everyone to see and know what i went through at classic mazda, and to not do buisness with them at all, because if they did it to me, they will do it to you.
