Dale Steinel, owner of DLM Contracting Corporation of WNY located in 373 Cottonwood Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221. Contact phone numbers, 716/536/6778 and 716/491-0468, came to my house, gave an estimate to perform work to my kitchen and took a $1,000 deposit.

I telephoned Dale one day prior to the start date to let him know that we had removed the kitchen cabinets, removed the drywall, the kitchen sink, stove and dishwasher to prepare the room for him as we had agreed.

It was then that Dale Steinel told me he had bad news. He wasn't going to do the work because he closed his business and was at his attorney's all day filing bankruptcy. This was just before Easter. Dale Steinel left me with a gutted kitchen, and never showed up to do the contracted work. He also has never returned my deposit. My phone calls to him go unanswered.

I did find out that he also lied about filing bankruptcy and that he has robbed many more people of their very hard-earned dollars as well. Dale Steinel should be sitting in a jail cell rotting.

I had saved up my money for a long time from my pay because my husband has been unemployed. I could have used the $1,000 for food, utilities or taxes but Dale Steinel chose to rob me and take my hard-earned wages.

The job wasn't just for aesthetics, it was a necessary repair.

This man is a thief, a coward and a liar. He was hired by referral from a local architect. I did contact the architect to let him know of the situation, and he will no longer refer him. After I told him that, he admitted that Dale had taken him for over $20,000. That made me angry since I would never refer anyone who did that to anyone else.

Dale Steinel is a snaky, dirty thief and should be punished for his crimes.

On August 13, 2015, Dale Steinel arrived at my home with a certified bank check to repay the deposit he had taken without performing any work.

It appears that Mr. Steinel was directly affected by my post on RipOff Report. I am glad that he has made amends.

I hope things will work out for Dale and he makes better decisions in the future.

I felt that I needed to let it be known that Dale had indeed repaid the money even though it was a year after the fact.
