Difeo Nissan, Service Dept has deceptive business practice. Since June of 2006, I observed that there was a leak inside of the vehicle when it rained. The vehicle is only 4 years old and I consider myself an extraordinary car caretaker. I checked all the rubber part on the door and the sunroof and couldn't find the cause. In Oct of 2006 the leak continued and the vehicle was brought to the DIFEO NISSAN Dealership. All the speeches about their excellent Service Department I trusted their service. After all, I purchased the vehicle from that dealership.

I took the car in at 9:00AM. At 4:00PM they started looking for the problem. Please, just note the 7 hours waiting. They started running the water on top of my vehicle to spot the water leakage which they couldn't find after 10 minutes of watering. And it was done. The result? They can't tell.

That's fine. Sh*t happens. Then they charged me $180.00 for the labor. $180.00 for the 7 hours waiting and 10 minutes of laboring. Since they couldn't find the leakage the service clerk gave me $150.00 credit so IF I find the leakage again I can bring the car back for service and that $150.00 will go towards the service charge. That's nice of them.

When it rained the leaking started again. Of course, since they have not fixed the problem. On the 2nd of January 2007, I brought the car back again for the service. At this time, I FOUND the leakage was occuring from the Sunroof. The vehicle entered the service center @ 8:00AM. They started looking into the vehicle at 3:00PM. Please, note that 7 hours of waiting AGAIN. They called me up and this is what they said:

"The sunroof has to be completely replaced. The amount of water goes in is greater than the amount that comes out. Since the Sunroof rubber part cannot be replaced, you have to completely replace the sunroof itself. That's $815.00 including the labor."

So, you may think the car is too old and the sunroof is worn out. The car is like-new condition including the ALL the rubber part on the window, the doors, and the sunroof.

This is what they do not want to do; opening the sunroof and cleaning out the rubbish inside where the water drains. Why do they not want to do this? 1) I have $150.00 credit and they know the "cleaning" won't cost that much which mean they will be doing the work for nothing. 2) They want to do some ill-fated business with me by selling something I really don't need and want to charge me $500 for the new sunroof and $315 for the labor.

This M** should never claim that they have "Excellent" Nissan Service Center. They should claim that they have "Excellent Rip OFF Center".
