First of all I would like to say is that just because a person doesn't have the best credit in the world doesn't mean they have to be treated like criminals or anything beneath a human being.
From the moment I layed eyes on Drive Financial's website I knew they were no good. The site just seemed totally generic and not welcoming or giving you a sense of security. First of all, making an online payment is a wopping $10.95, which it outrageous! As a matter of fact ALL methods of payment other than mailing (which isn't so safe) is $10.95. I'm thinking "You've gotta be kidding me!". The so called convient payment options are supposedly going through Western Union but I think Drive is taking in the cash themselves.
I spoke with a representative one day, who I could barely understand, to inquire about some issues that I had with my account. They never give you a straight answer or seem confindent in the information their giving you. One issue in particular is when I asked is if I pay a little extra can I add that extra to my principal? The rep told me it would go to the interest since I am paying more for interest than the car, which I think is ridiculous. I mean they are making me pay BOTH interest and Principal, so like 75% of my payments are going towards interest. Not to mention all the hidden fees. All the interest they charge for being late. The rep told me that it was $7.00 for each day you are late. Unbelievable!
They harrass you. Call you 10 times a day on every contact number they have for you and if you request for them not to call that number, especially you work number they do anyway! They are rude, forceful, and a pain. They even called my house one day, and my bf answered the phone. They asked if he was my husband and started asking for all of his personal information. WHAT NERVE! All they are out for is there money. They care nothing about good customer service or their customers.
