This company is a complete piece of s***!! TROY KRANITZ is a greasy slimball that gets off overcharging and ripping people off!!
Here's my situation....my vehicle died as i was on my way to work yesterday morning. I knew it was the alternator. I called my friend at work and got some contacts off the internet so i could call and get my car towed in. Well this place was the closest to where i was so i decided to take it there. I explained my situation and was initially quoted $426.35 for a bosch alternator and $80 for a belt. I told them i don't need a top of the line alternator so I asked for them for a cheaper one. Supposedly they had another NEW one for $366.14. At this point I just wanted it done so i said lets do it. I then went to work (had a buddy pick me up). I spoke to them a few hours later only this time they told me that my battery was no good and they offered me an interstate battery for $179. i declined, i told them i have a warranty on the battery and i could replace it for free.
I then left work, after i was already 2 hours late, picked up my girlfriend's vehicle and went back to the shop. They took the battery out and i took it to the place where i bought it originally. The battery tested GREAT. Another ploy from TROY to try and get more money, GREASY SCAM ARTIST. After i told them to put the battery back in, because there was nothing wrong with it, Troy had me sign a document saying the price was $765.02 all together (parts, labor and everything). Soon there after the car was finished. When i went to pay they said the grand total was $1044.54. EXCUSE ME!! I questioned this immediately. This piece of s*** TROY guy got loud with me saying well that doesn't include taxes, towing (which i knew would be added), shop supply fees, the 52.50 they charge for taking out the battery (which by the way never needed to be taken out in the first place) etc etc.
He states i've been wasting his and the companies time by being on the phone with them and asking all these questions about prices and everything. Then when i questioned the $52.50 charge for taking out the battery, which a d**n monkey could do, he raised his voice saying WHO TOOK OUT THE BATTERY, DID YOU? NO...52.50. I told him no reason to get loud and raise your voice, i'm simply a paying customer trying to get an explanation here. Then as i continued to question the charges and the changed prices for labor and all these added charges that were never mentioned before, he snatched my keys away from the guy at the front desk, Jeff, and said this guy doesn't get his car unless cash, check or credit card and stormed away. I didn't know what to do. I just wanted my car so i could get the hell out of there so i paid it. Today i looked at my "new" alternator and there is a sticker right on the top of it that says remanufactured!! Bulls**t!! My invoice says my original quote was $980.79, LIE!! They changed it and i didn't catch that until later. They charged $267.75 labor for the alternator and $57.75 labor for the belt plus $46.70 for shop supplies. This job wouldn't and shouldn't take more than 1 hour tops!!
BOTTOM LINE: this TROY KRANITZ is a bit*h!! Sorry for the language but i'm still pissed off because this guy who by the way just has that grease ball scam artist look, if you saw him you'd know what i mean, he's probably been doing this for too many years but most people don't know about this site to explain to people of the wrongdoing out there. Hopefully i didn't leave anything out, thanks for listening.
BOYCOTT THIS PLACE AS THEY WILL ONLY RIP YOU OFF AND OVERCHARGE YOU!!
