We paid Extreme Mastering to have our album mastered, but since the company went out of business, there's no way to contact them and we haven't received a refund.

Here's the precise timeline of our interaction with Extreme Mastering.

March 27: Emailed EM (info at ExtremeMastering dot com) to ask if we could pay now to lock in the spring special offer, i.e. have our album mastered for $125.

March 30: Received the reply from EM saying yes, pay now to lock in the special offer and you can send us your files within 3 months to have them mastered.

March 31: Paid $140 (album mastering + additional master and reference CDs) via PayPal to EM, as indicated in the email and on the website.

June 6: Once our files were ready, I tried to contact EM to know if they could still do our project. However, their phone and email were not working anymore.

Now we just want our money back, but there's no way to contact EM, which makes it look a lot like a scam.

I noticed there are several reports similar to this one. The owner responded to a report by Brian and claimed that refunds are being issued. We're still missing ours.

Mr. Owner of Extreme Mastering, if you happen to read this and are indeed "not trying to scam or rip off anyone", please refund the $140 we paid you on March 31.
