BEWARE of tow truck (F and S towing) scams at the San Ysidro Border, especially tow trucks with special contracts with local businesses.

Truck driver's at businesses by the border (like Jack in the Box) are on the lookout to gain extra cash by intimidating and humiliating customers without having actually lifted the car. They wait around parking lots, but pretend to be bystanders when they are really spying on you. They hide their tow truck in the back of the building and wait to you leave to make up any excuse to lift your car.

The fee to take your car out of the storage yard is $340 yet you can have it dropped for $100 even if they haven't hooked your car. We question the ethics of the company and why must the incentive for their employees to make more money rely on the number of cars they tow? The reason to tow a car is because it is obstructing customer space, it isn't to profit from storage or drop fees!

Furthermore, the drivers act authoritative and refuse to give out their names and their unit numbers. The name and number to the tow truck company is crossed off on the parking lot signs. If everything is crystal clear, why hide this information from the clients????

OJO con las tranzas de las gruas (F and S towing) en la frontera de San Ysidro. Sobretodo cuando estas compa-ias de gruas tienen contratos con los negocios locales.
Los conductores de las gruas en los negocios fronterizos (como el Jack in the Box de Sn. Ysidro) estan buscando hacer un dinero extra intimidando e humillando a los clientes de estos negocios sin si quiera haber enganchado su auto. Observan la oporutnidad ideal para llevarse su carro pero actuan como si fueran clientes normales y esconden la grua detras del edificio. En cuanto usted se va inventan cualquier excusa para enganchar su auto.

Cuesta $340 sacar un auto del corralon, pero pueden soltar el carro por $100. Y aunque no este enganchado su carro, aun intentan cobrarle estos precios.
!!!Cuestionamos la etica de esta compa-nia y porque el incentivo para ganar mas dinero de parte de sus empleados debe ser cuantos carros enganchan!!!!
!Las gruas deben servir para evitar la obstruccion de un estacionamiento, no para hacerse rico de engancahr carros y mandarlos al corralon!

A parte de todo, los conductores actuan de una forma muy autoritaria y niegan su nombre, y el numero de su grua. Los telefonos y el nombre de la empresa de gruas esta tachada en todos los letreros del estacionamiento. !!!Si no tienen nada que esconder porque se esconden!!!!

NO se deje amenazar ni intimidar, y menos cuando el conductor sabe el espa-nol y le habla golpeado en ingles. Pida hablar con un supervisor antes de que se lleven su carro.
