Just to share my terrified experience with Fenland Breaker!!
Last Monday the 9th March I have ordered a rear hub assembly from them for my Honda S2000 which I was promised I should have it by Wed. the 11th March.
Since I didn't received anything I gave them a ring which I was told they haven't had any order from me but unable to explain why my credit card is being charged by them. Then I was promised they will look into it and come back to me in 20 minutes (as if they did!).
Thursday the 12th March I gave them a ring again which this time they realised there is an order under my name and card details however it was for a FTO hub not S2000 they said!! No matter what I say I seem to be an idiot who would order something from a different car to them and they are taking no responiblity what so ever! However the guy I spoke to (called Ian) sounds reasonable and offered a refund as long as I return/reject the parcel when they deliver.
Wed 18th March I called them again this time and I spoke to David - the "boss" as he called himself and stressed that I have got the part as they have the proof! but when I ask them to send me the proof of signature, they turned around to tell me the courier has attempted to deliver the parcel but no one was there but a card was left (which I haven't received). At the end I was given a tracking number and the courier phone number for me a sort out myself and no refund will be given. At the end of the day the part has been returned to them but still not getting my refund.
Let alone what was happened and I do understand things happen sometimes. But I am extremely upset by the way that Fenland is treating their customer when things go wrong. Also the way that they try to talk you down, call you names and swear as if everything is your fault without understanding the situation, I mean how could you 100% guarantee that no mistake are made anywhere along the ordering process?
Would love to hear other victims' story and what actions are taken to get their money back.
