First Bankcard Affiliated with O.Co formerly Overstock.com Dishonest Fee Fishers Omaha Nebraska

As soon as First Bankcard took over our Overstock.com card from Omaha Bank I started having issues.

Rather than an smooth transition to a new online account, access was blocked. I tried contacting them to get the issue resolved but they gave me a list of security questions that I never would have chosen because I wouldn't have had answers to them. They said I had to complete one of their forms to get the account unlocked but that the form was not availble online so they'd have to mail it. It never came after three requests so I gave up. No online visibility or payment option for the account was the first issue.

Then the phone calls started. They would call a few days before the payment was due saying it was just a courtesy reminder and offered to take the payment over the phone right then. On one occasion they got me on the phone, rather than a message and I said "okay" and gave them payment information. Well, I get the next statement and there was a $15 assisted payment charge. I called to complain but they just insisted that I had been told and that the charge stood.

Today they got my wife on the phone and she almost fell for it. They even made threatening statements about late charges even though the we're never late and payment isn't due yet. Luckily she said she'd have to ask me about it first.

These people are some bottom feeding scumbags. We're going to payoff the account and be done with them. My wife and I have spent thousands of dollars with Overstock.com over the years and because of their affiliation with this bank we will never make a purchase from them again.
