Future Shop ripoff Was sold as new a product that was swaped Lethbridge Alberta

I purchased what I thought was a Sony DRU820A DVD RW, but what I found inside was a Samsung CD master 48E model SC148. The instruction manual bag was opend and the interchangable face plate along with four screws were also missing.

I went back to the store expecting to make an exchange. But the customer service personel and manager would not allow an exchange on the fact that what was in the box is not what I purchased.

They said that what I purchased was a factory sealed box.

I talked to a Sony repesentative about how a Samsung product could be factory sealed in a Sony box, and said that it was not possible.

The Second bar code numbers are:

# = numbers I can not read

I have filled a complaint with Future Shop.
