Well, where to start.
On September 14th, 2008, I approached Gamepal.com to get a quotation on my Eve online account
I was quoted $100 and I accepted the quote
A couple of days went by and they logged onto my account, verified the contents, changed the password, then sent me the $100 via Paypal
On the 8th of November, 2008, I received an email from Paypal stating the following..
We are contacting you to let you know that one of your buyers recently visited the Resolution Centre and attempted to open a dispute against a payment. The buyer wished to dispute the payment sent on 18 Sep 2008
(Transaction xxxxxxxx). This dispute has been deferred because it was not opened within 45 days of payment.
I emailed the company to enquire, but had no reply and then on the 26th of November, 2008, I received another email from Paypal stating that the company in question had reversed the funds, stating....
The buyer claims that the item wasn't received. Their credit card company needs additional information from you about this transaction.
I've emailed about 6 different email addresses at Gamepal and "toons, inc" to try and resolve this, but have had NO reply to any emails sent.
Searching Google for "Gamepal scammers" there are plenty of other nightmare stories to, I just wish I'd checked beforehand before giving them my Eve online account.
