Following is the "promise" made by Giancarlo Capuccio. I purchased his "Insider Slots Secrets" for $47 and discovered very quickly that NOTHING that he references in his sales pitch is actually in the EBook! In fact, as I read through the 50 pages of crap, I wondered if I was reading the correct book because it didn't even come close to discussing the topics and details that he cited in his pitch.

Frank is absolutely right

AUTHOR: Timothy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 29, 2005

Frank is exactly right. There is NO viable system for slot machines, unless you were the guy who programs them and you insert a malicious code (which happened in Vegas several years back).

All of these systems are built on the premise that the casino has unfettered control over the payout on its machines. This is a faulty premise. The payouts are set by the manufcturer. The casino has some say in what the payout will be, but it must be in accord with pertinent laws.

The only solid advice anybody can give you about slot machines is to stay away from them. If you're going to play them, bear in mind that payouts will be better where the casino has some competition.

In Vegas the payouts are generally as good as they get because the market is too competititve to risk alienating customers with consistently poor payouts.

In the middle of Michigan, on the other hand, where there is no real competition and little regulation of payouts, the payouts are crap. Go where there are many casinos if you want to have your best shot.

There are some good systems for blackjack and poker, but none for pure games of chance (slots, roulette, craps).

The real secret is: you can't win

AUTHOR: Frank - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 28, 2005

Annie,

There are no "secret" methods to beating slots, at least none that are legal. Anybody who tells you that they have the "secret" is trying to rip you off - period, end of sentence. You would have been better off putting that $47 into a slot machine and losing it. At least you would have gotten a cheap thrill out of it and kept a scammer from making money.

Slot machines are designed to return a percentage of the money that is put into them and the rate of return is programmed into the machines. In Vegas, 98% returns can be had at certain casinos. The house still makes out well because the cash handle is so much that even at a 2% profit they're making out like (one-armed) bandits.

Slots at Indian casinos are much worse, typically 80% return or lower (I've seen it as low as 60%).

The house ALWAYS wins; the only variable is how long it takes. But you WILL lose in the long run.

The "secret" to beating the slots? It's simple - don't play them.
