Global Tel Link Global Tel-Link is a RIPOFF... Internet

Global Tel Link is the only phone carrier that services the Montgomery County TX jail.  The fees are outrageous; service is terrible; calls are dropped and then you have to pay again to be re-connected.  This is all the time.

When you call in to customer service your calls get dropped as well or, maybe they are just hanging up on me.  Their service team is not professional; they don't know anything; and the whole thing is a scam.  Please someone do something about this company.  They should be accountable.

Everyone should start filing complaints with FCC; State Attorney General Office; and any other place one can be filed.

I even tried to find out where I could get information about prepaid phone cards that are purchased through the commissary which are Global Tel Link cards and they tell me I need to talk to the jail facilities to find out the balance on the cards????  The jail???  These cards are provided through Global Tel Link.  What a ripoff!
