GoKartsUSA.com No customer service, sent wrong go-kart, rude, no instructions, unknown parts.....they just plain suck, Internet, Internet

Gokartsusa.com is probably run by a guy working out of his mother's basement.  I ordered a go-kart for my kids, but received a completely different version without the components I wanted.  No battery charger included (rep said to buy one at Walmart) and tons of parts that I have no idea where they go.  Rep says the Chinese often throw in extra useless parts, so I should just discard them (ha!).  No instructions to assemble anything......and it wasn't easy to figure out (I'm a mechanical engineer). 

The safety manuals that do come with the go-kart are in the worst Engrish I've ever read.  Four emails sent to tech support were ignored and their phone line is always busy.  The only way you can actually talk to a human and get a response is to pretend that you're buying something by asking for the sales department. 

The company rep had the balls to tell me that I wasn't doing things correctly because they apparently require customers who fill out their online tech support form and subsequently call in as well.  Funny thing is that when you call in for support, the automated system tells you to go back to the website for help.  Infinite loops of punishment from gokartsusa.com.

This is the worst online company I've ever seen and I buy a lot of parts online. I suggest that anyone reading this should find a local go-kart dealer rather than risking an internet go-kart purchase.

PS.  Thank GOD I'm converting this go-kart to electric since the 110cc engine is leaking gas out a vent tube.  If I had a manual, I could tell you more......

I'm not sure what is more comical......this vendor taking 5 years to respond or that they're still in business.  I stand by my original complaint and the vendor's rebuttal is nothing more than free advertising.

  My name is Nick with Golarts USA. Even though this complaint is very old I wanted to respond to it. the customer definitely sounds a little frustrated . We know go carts and minibikes require substantial support to uncrate set up and operates and toys do break from time to time . The customer actually did receive the correct gokart. We have an extensive customer service system set up to provide support to our customers plus we carry over 11,000 parts in stock in our warehouse ready to ship Powersports is number one for us we are the oldest and largest Powersports company in the USA . If you need support for your product just complete a help request in the customer service section of our website are professional staff will work hard to assist you order with confidence
