 To any Grandview Timeshare owner that feels that feels they have been misled by Grandview.  My wife and I bought a New Years Eve week in 2007 and we have never been able to use it.  We are still pay on it.  I have been researching timeshare laws and my contract.  I believe there is a way to legally get your money back.  I am finalizing my research and I will post my findings on the site on 20 May 2013.  My intent is to file a lawsuit against the Berkley Group who owns Eldorado resorts, a FL corporation, who owns Grand View Resorts.  Hopefully my research will help others do the same

My husband and I share the same exact story! We need to file a class action lawsuit and teach these horrible people that they cant get away with this ! Eldorado Resorts is a despicable company and we have had this timeshare for two years paying 300 a month and are yet to use it!!!! Thousands of dollars gone to these wolves and we are ready for legal action. If anyone has any info on a lawsuit please email me at (((REDACTED)))

 We have been screwed by these people and the timeshare industry in more ways than we can count.  After being pressured into purchasing two units at Grandview following more than 5 hours of constant bombartment from different sales staff after each no until we finally broke and said yes we ended up with two units that we ended up paying a total of more than $26,000 for that we now cant give away for over $3,000.  And even that is questionable since I have seen them listed on E-bay with a starting bid of only $1.00 and getting no bids.

Renting them out is a crap shoot, meaning that you have to be a current paying member of RCI, must sign off your week, giving up any points, that consequencly you don't regain if your unit doesn't get rented out, be current on your maintenance fee, which is currently around $700. annualy for a 2 bedroom unit, with no gaurantee that it will be rented, and no confermation that it was if they did rent it, expected to just take their word that it was or wasn't and how much they rented it for.  And if your lucky and they say that they rented it, you have to give them a percentage of what they say that they rended it for; meaning that even though you paid all of these expenses, $700 for maintance, $150. for RCI membership, you still have to pay them for taking the reservation and money, even though they will use this as an oportunity to try and con whom ever rents your unit into also becoming a member.

They provide vertually no services, are way off the beaten path from the strip, cost you more for shuttle service to and from the air port.  And I have still not seen any of the development that they claimed was taking place within eyeshot for the place happen,(new bullet train depost, Disney park or theme park built, new casino's or anything for that matter).  There isn't a word of truth coming out of the mouths of any of their sales staff,  They will esentually tell you anything and promise you everything to make that sale.  And when it is all said and done, your left with nothing but the bill for the unit and a never ending expense that will continue to drain you indefinitly less you are willing to kiss all the money paid for the unit good-bye, take a hit to your credit report and pay any default and/or cort cost to just walk away providing them now with yet another opportunity to resell it to another unsuspecting victim.  Either way, its a win win situation for them as they will continue to make money on this unit no matter how it turns out.

So by all means, if you are looking for other victims of Grandview to join you in a class action suite againt them, count me in.  I would like nothing more than turn the tables on them and stop them from ripping anyone else off.

My husband and I would like to join this.  We purchased our timeshare from Grandview in Las Vegas as well.  We have not been able to use it.  We were also given a "bonus week", to supposedly go anywhere in short notice.  You couldn't book it more than 45 days in advance.  When I tried to use it for the first time I was actually laughed at.  Not kidding. 

I looked up a vacation for a ski trip for my family and there was supposedly no openings.  Funny thing was our vacation was spent in "our timeshare location" that we had to pay for.  How is it you can book this outside of using your timeshare, but couldn't use your points that you paid so much money for?

My account was on a "maintenance fee block" from the first year, because we were told the first years fees were included in the first "down payment".  It took seven phone calls and had to pay for it AGAIN.  This was handled in February of 2013.  As of November 2013 my account still had the same block.  When I called the number on the website I was forwarded to two different numbers.  Everytime I talked to someone "they didn't deal with that".  As of Nov. 19th 2013 the same block is on my account.  I was told it would take 3 to 72 hours for it to update.  February to November is 9 MONTHS.  I have nothing but rude customer service from them and no one willing to help.  

We bought this thinking it would make vacations for our family cheaper.  It has done nothing but cost and cost and not used ONCE.

I would love to join in this lawsuit.

Hi! I was lied to and scammed into a contract with this horrible company that has many names but is ran by one location. I want to be a part of the class action lawsuit against them. I can't afford to be paying them anymore for nothing. I have never gained anything from this company, nor have anything to show for all the money I have paid and am still paying. Have you guys stopped paying them? and if so what has happened?  we were lied to throughout this entire process with eldorado resorts las vegas. we have filed a complaint with the bbb, but were given the blow off with the company. we were lied to about selling weeks through the rci program that we didnt find out about til it was to late to cancel the purchase. we were lied to by the sales guy keith devine, which misteriously doesnt work there anymore. chris flakes the guy we did the paerwork with also lied to us. my name is sean farrell number 2197899381. please call me to be part of any class action suit you get together.
