Gymbofriends unfair suspension stealing money Internet

I just wanted to comment because there is a big difference between the two sites and i don't want one getting dragged down with the other. I have nothing against either site, but just wanted to clarify that Gymboplace is not associated with Gymbofriends in any way, other than to have some members be on both sites (like myself).  Gymboplace is much smaller, with fewer members (although still pretty large), and the Moderators work very hard to protect their members. Again, not trying to pick a fight - just my opinion from being a member of both sites for 2+ years.

ITA with you about this site.  Momofhay*bear is just a fat Alabama housewife on a powertrip.  I got banned for something ridiculous.  Her name is terri butler and frankly I have always found her to be a b*tch.  I was banned because apparently I had "intent to sell"  nice huh?

Gymbofriends and Gymboplace are two completely separate websites. Why is Gymboplace being mentioned?

Where do I begin? I was a member of this forum for a year before they pulled the plug, no valid explanation, just a total ban out of the blue one day.

I began as a loopie in a couple of the yahoo groups for mommies who love to shop the Gymboree, Gap and other brands. I was new to the loops as they call them and eager to embark on my new adventure.

I joined various yahoo groups during Gymboree's big event Circle of Friends where you get 30% for your entire purchase. I was happy to pick up some items for fellow loopies who at the time where ISO (in search of) some items to complete an outfit and before I knew it I had picked up almost $500 worth of ISO's for various loopies.

After several loopies backed out after asking for items and another several dodging my emails requesting payment so I could ship their items, I was forced to do the walk of shame back to the store and return the bulk of items. At another loopies suggestion, I contacted a MOD (moderator) to help me contact the loopies whom had requested the items. In most loops (yahoo groups) it is frowned upon if you ask another loopie find your ISO and then you dop not follow through with transaction. Much to my dismay, not only were several of the so called MODS uncooperative, but they labeled me as "difficult" and a "troublemaker" and kicked me out of not only their groups, but they contacted owners and MODS of several other groups who also gave me the boot...

Enter Gymbofriends. A very nice loopie who felt bad for me sent me a referral link to gymbofriends and I thought it would be a fresh new start...And for the longest time it was. I was a flower power member with BST (buy/sell/trade) privileges and I was getting great deals on gymboree clothing as well as getting rid of items that were no longer useful to my kids.

I was a member from last Spring until now, when I logged in this week and a screen came up as banned. WTF? Surely it was a mistake. I emailed and emailed the admins and never received a response. I created another account and searched the term banned on the website and found a whole thread on my banning and consequently, the bashing began. The entire posting was of people, many who never had transactions with me, began to bash me. The ringleader was a MOD whose screenname is momofhaybear. Under my new login, I contact this person and post on the forum a rebuttal letting everyone know that the facts were not correct and they should ask for proof before assuming it was true (which it wasn't).

Turns out the reason why I was banned, even though I had 100% positive feedback is because there was a problem with my paypal and one of my payments for a transaction did not go through and the GF (fellow Gymbofriends member) contacted a (MOD) instead of me, and told her that I had filed a dispute with paypal for non receipt of items even though I had...Seriously.

First of all, had I done that, paypal would have TEMPORARILY held the funds pending their investigation and since she was the seller and she used paypal shipping to send the package, they would have seen that I had received the items and released the funds to her. Secondly, had the same GF not overreacted and contacted me, she would have known that the payment did go through after the glitch was fixed and no harm would have been done. Thirdly, there is no way for me to have stopped payment through paypal other than to file a dispute other than non-receipt or to do a chargeback if payment was made through my credit card. Had she called paypal herself, she would have also been told that I had NOT reversed the payment, paypal did, and once the problem was cleared (I had added a new bank account and the old one was still under my primary) her payment was completed after all.

Now, back to the MOD, momofhaybear or Terri, which is her real name. Not only did she respond to my email saying that they can ban anyone they want for any reason at all, but she DELETED my posting to the other members so they would not question why someone with 100% feedback was all of a sudden a banned member. Adding insult to injury, she made up even more vicious lies about me so that the other GF's could be appreciative of her for getting rid of big, bad ol' me.

How pathetic? Now, not only am I banned from Gymbofriends, but I am also banned from the loops (which I wasn't even using anymore) and Gymboplace.com as well. Apparently, the MODS at Gymboplace and the MODS at Gymbofriends know each other and I am a problem child, LOL.

And yes, much like Melissa, I had no recourse and they are selling collecting subscription fees though I have filed with paypal as well.

If you are a victim of any of these forums, please contactme by placing a rebuttal as I am looking into taking legal action against these people for defamation, slander, and libel. If we could band together, maybe we have a better chance of changing the way these people deal with their members.
