Homeq servicing company took an insurance binder for flood and hazard for a property that I have in Miami FL.They notify me by mail that I needed to send them proof of insurance and that the binder would be cancelled as soon as I did so. I spoke with one of their representatives as soon as I got my flood and hazard insurance to provide them with that proof.

Two weeks after I got a letter notifying me that they canceled the binder policy that they took for the hazard insurance since I already send them proof of insurance but that I owed them the ammount of $767.71 for 20 days that my property was without hazard insurance.

I called them today July 9 because I founded that ammount outrageous since I paid for flood insurance and hazard for the full year $760 dollars. When I talked to them today they also told me that they still did not get the proof for flood insurance. That is BS.The same day that I provided them the hazard I also provided them the flood insurance, since I took both policies on the same day and with the same insurance agent. So now they're telling me that I not only owe them $767.71 for 20 days without hazard but also for 20 days that my property was without flood insurance and most likely the ammount is going to be similar.

When I told them that I was feeling robbed they put me to talk to a supervisor who told me that the money that I owed them was not negotiable and that on top of that they also required winds insurance and that I was also going to be charged for the time that I did not have it.Firstable when they first contacted me they only mentioned flood and hazard insurance and they are charging me an absurd ammount for the days that I did not have insurance and now after 1 month that they contacted me for the first time the supervisor tells me that I also need winds insurance.

I'm being robbed in my face and they are not understanding at all and the most incredible thing is that the insurance company that they got the provitional binder from belongs to them.I'm not saying I don't want to pay for the 20 days that I was uninsured but a reasonable ammount. They are just trying to rip me off but I will not let them.
