We have a Song Wega 42" Tv that we bought from Circuit City in June 2005.

On September 5th we contacted Marty Pecorino from Holiday TV and Electronics for repair on our TV. He had given us an estimate of 600.00 for repair and said the Q Board needed to be replaced and that he will need to have 1/2 the money up front to order the part, he said he charges 38.50 extra to get part delivered within 7-10 days. We waited approximately 14 days before we heard from him only to make an appointment for the following week to replace the part. He came out to the house and he replaced the part only to tell us that wasn't the problem. said he had to call Sony and order another part , this time saying it was the fuse. we waited until today October 21st for him to tell us that it could be 4 other boards in there that could be bad, said it will cost us 1200.00 then said tv wasn't worth fixng and proceeded to tell us he has a TV we can buy from him. Needless to say I didn't take all this very well and demanded him to refund us the money he owes us and he said he only owed us 15.00. We were never shown the invoice to show that he had even ordered the part. Or if the new part was even put in. But if it didn't work we should of been refunded for that you would think.
He did write on the receipt that he was charging us 285.00 if he was unable to fix the tv. I do not know what other recourse we have but to take him to small claims court and not sure if we have a chance to get any of our money back.

The other reports filed here sound very similar to mine. We also called him several times and had to leave message with no return call from Mr Pecorini.

Holiday Tv and Electronics of Holiday Florida

AUTHOR: Neil mahoney - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 22, 2008

Just an update from my previous report
Took our 42" LCD Tv to Service Electronics of Holiday Florida for repair after Marty Pecorino of Holiday Tv and Elecs had charged us 300.00 and told us our tv was unrepairable. Service Electronics was able to repair our tv for 227.00. Just a warning to anyone out there considering to use this company. We will be taking him to small claims court to get our money back. Think we have a good case..
