I went to the buythebullet.com web site to buy the Magice Bullet(Friday 3rd of july at 10 pm). I went to the "Order Now" link. I filled out the form with address and credit card information and clicked on the "Purchase" button. A bunch of options were then shown for upgrades by selecting additional items. I deselected all of these unnecessary items and carried on. The final page then showed the whole cost which was for buy one get one free, plus additional shipping charges ($99.99 [magic bullet cost] + $10.69 [some miscellaneous item which they didn't add until here] + $39.98 [shipping & handling for TWO magic bullets]). On this page there was a "Purchase It" button. However, finally seeing what the total was going to be, I figured that I just need one, not two. So I didn't click the final "Purchase It" button and closed the web page. So, I assumed that I didn't purchase the item.

Two and half days later(Monday 6th morning), I get an e-mail saying that I placed an order and it will be shipped in 10-15 business days. So then I checked my credit card statement and found out that it had been charged. I was very surprised because if I had actually purchased the item, I should've received a confirmation e-mail or invoice on the same day.

I had called the customer service and asked why didnt they sent me a confirmation mail or invoice on the same day , they said they take 24hrs to update database but.. they sent me a e-mail to me on Monday 6th morning after shipping the order ,saying that your order is placed .Also they said they work on Saturday and Sunday too .I really couldnt understand why couldnt they send me a Invoice after 24hrs of placing the order atleast.they also said that they have to take two days to get the tracking number and then only send the email with that information ( email which surprised me monday morning) and they didnt even send the tracking number yet its Monday 6th night 8:45.

Finally what i wanted to say is this website was completely misleading compared to other websites where there is same deal as this( buy one get one free + additional shipping charges). This website didnt even had a option to choose one unlike others. The customer service person said it was your mistake you clicked purchase button because that page has clearly shown only one deal buy one get one free. But the pages misleaded us as I didnt think I had completed the entire order process as the final total charges are shown later on the third page but only then did i realize the actual price would be and decided not to get it so I didnt click on the final 'purchase it' button.I actually didnt even confirm the order.Placing an order is entirely different from Comfirming the order.Dont anybody get pissed off to get charged for what they had not confirmed??????.
