Hughesnet is all a LIE! I was told Hughesnet signal was more reliable than Direct TV, A LIE! Every time a cloud or an overcast day, no signal. I was told it was "free" install, A LIE! It cost me $311.16 ($133.75 just for the pole to mount it). We were told repeatedly (10 to 15 times in a week) when we called "tech support" there must be a computer problem on our end, A LIE! We had just bought a new Compac tower. I finally said I didn't want Hughesnet service and what did I need to do to get rid of it. (They did offer me 6 weeks of free service to help offset the cost for the "free install"!) I'm not sure why anyone would want 6 more weeks of something that doesn't work, but hey, they did offer, Duh! I was told to ship the modem and radio reciever back and that I would recieve a refund of $54.80 as soon as they got theequipment, A LIE! I waited 10 days after they recieved the equipment to call about the refund and was told it would be another MONTH to get my refund and there was nothing I could do about it! I'm still waiting... If you read this and still purchase anything from Hughesnet, you should be hit in the head with a tac hammer, you are a MORON and deserve what you get!
