I took DirecWay and had a satellite dish put on my home and paid up front and no one told me it was only under a warranty for one year or anything about mbps. That was over $800.00 for dish..

Now I'm having trouble with Hughesnet.net and they want to charge me more money and went I started with DirecWay it was only $64.19 per month for 2 years ... nothing about 235 mbps and it got slower and slower ,

so I call and ask why, that was when I found out about the mbps deal so I upgrade and got a new modem which I'm still paiding for it.

Hughesnet.net said I sign agreement with them but I never never saw any agreement or sign anything...about the mbps because the only person I saw was a man from Home Depot to put dish on my roof and I sign that I received it ...

If anyone sign anything ,they did that in office them self.I never sign anything. only time I have talk to someone and that is someone sititng there and trying to get more money...now it changed from DirecWay to hughesnet.net.

It was over $300.00 which I told I would be under until july of this year 2009 and that was in Aug.2,2008. My price when from $64.19 to $74.89...also I went up in mbps also to make it go faster from 235 mbps to 375 mbps

I still having trouble when it rains ,snow,wind or sunshine. I called back many many times and now they tell me it is my modem or dish but now my dish is out of warranty so they need $125.00 in my account before they sent another tech out to my home again. Modem should be under warranty still but.....is what I'm told ..

The persons I was talking to said they could go ahead and take the money from my account and sent a tech out,there isn't no Hughesnet.net tech around here close by and I'm out in country and I live on a fixed income and I'm disable.. I told Hughesnet.net if they touch my bank account I would sue them,because I only have enough to paid my bills in it.

First of off they have never sent a tech to my home for anything,not when I call right after the man put it on my home roof ,about the plastic piece that suppose to have been on it over the eye,because my son show me ,his over his Tv dish...they told me I didn't really need it and now I'm having all kinds of trouble with it.....or Hughesnet.net...The man who put my dish on roof came from Home Depot.

Now if I go with someone esle and don't need Dish on roof I will have holes in my roof.

Hughesnet.net tells me I can't get out of contract until the new modem is paid for..I told them to come and get their junk out of my home by senting tech to come here and get it.

Every month I have called in to Hughesnet.net and get into a heated talk with them after it slows up so slow next few mins after we hang up it gets faster until they want to slow it back up...

I thought after the two year contact I had with DirecWay the price would drop down but no one told me I would be paiding for the sky...God gave us the sky,why should DirecWay or Hughesnet.net Charging for the sky.

This should have been told to me before I bought anything and only 1 yr on a dish and internet for the rest of my life..

Internet cost way to much...... I write down everytime I call Hughesnet and use to be DirecWay and mostly what I called for and the dates and what it cost me.

I'm still got slow internet from them and still haven't paid $125.00 for them to sent a tech out...I'm quit paiding out..I set my foot firm...

After husband downloads or updates computer it no internet for the day and he does that suppose to be free time too.but slow it takes longer....it gets faster after I call them but they make me so mad, I don't bother anymore calling them.

I had DirectWay for awhile and it was terrible (I had no other choice at the time). Incredibly slow and buggy for the price. Bottom rate DSL is much faster if you can get it. Call your local phone company and ask them about DSL. My neighbors and I did that and it was brought where we live in the woods of SC. If we can get it, anyone can.
