Mary terry opened up a new animal rescue at 39 Laurel Heights Road in Fitzwilliam NH. She used the land and buildings that she got from her divorce from Kenneth J. Terry in 2005. She is now remarried toa man named Chase so she goes by the name of Mary Terry Chase or Mary Chase. She shows at the Washington International Horse Show - never places but shows there anyway.
The rescue (Laurel Heights Sanctuary) is a private charity. The state vet claims that there are no private charities in NH - Mary Terry has never turned over the records of Turtle Rock Rescue to the State AG's office. She shreeded them.
She is not to be trusted with anything animal. She will steal it and sell it.
Two of my horses were found - one in Maine - Mary Terry sold Sinful Betty to a dealer friend of theirs a Mark Merril of Stetson Maine - he is on the Maine Sex offender list - Betty was starved for two winters and left for dead when she was bought by Joan Cameron's boyfriend - upon doing dental work they found that Betty is a Thoroughbred and upon notification tot he Registry they found out that she was indeed stolen as there are no Court Documents to indicate otherwise. Mary Terry made l000 and sold a 22 yr old broodmare as a riding horse - a Statndardbred riding horse.
Mini was returned to me via Tammy Poisson in Chester NH - she knew of the shady business dealings of Ken and Mary and she had Mini for sale and I called her and I bought back my own horse - she is still with me and doing well.
Ken has disappearedto parts unknown. Mary put my mares in the killers as she could not feed them or sell them as the money to the rescue had dried up.
My horses are listed on Netposse.com and without any Court Documents they are considered stolen - Maybe Mary was told that there was a Court order allowing my horses to be moved but the only court documents tat I have is a Narrative and that does not give Francis Payette of Hollis NH permission to even touch my horses - he even tried to kill me with a truck because I would not give him 5000 forhis new well. The contract for service told me that I had t pay their board - he signed it and did not pay the board - I tried and Ken Terry refused it - the only legal matter with any statute of limitations is the attempted murder with a F150 pick up truck - while I was bringing in my horses - There was no board because (the court found) Payette refused it and once money is refused it cannot be claimed again - I an not a loony just want to know where the horses are.

Roger Henry, trustee of this organization lives at 515 andrea doria, sierra vista az 85635. His telephone is disconnected. The organization has a "not good standing" status with the Arizona Corporations division of the Attorney General's office. I asked in a letter to Henry dated 10/31-07 what his organization did with my horses ie who he sold them to & how much he got for them. There was no response.
The identity theft by Mary L. Terry d/b/a Turlle Rock Rescue occurred on August 28, 2003 from the data base of 4.21.l85.2 (Commonwealth of Massachusetts)
There was another one on August 17, 2003 by the same person. E mails were sent to Travis Eaton & Debbie Brosman (both employees of Turtle Rock Rescue) both were sent by Mary L. Terry claiming to be me.
Kenneth J. Terry has a criminal record in Arizona for dwi +l0, an assortment of assault & batteries, a divorce from Donna Terry. He also has a record in the State of Wyoming for sexual assault upon a minor.
He fled the State of NH after divorcing Mary Terry in October 2005. His whereabouts remain a mystery. He committed a felony upon my horse for his castration under the cruelty to animal statute 644:8A. He castrated another person's horse before 2000 & his insurance carrier had to pay off big time. They fled the State of Arizona for some reason. Supposedly squatters were living on the property & Mary could not get them removed.
I posted the pictures of the missing/stolen horses upon this web site. As I hold all legal ownership documents it would be appreciated if they were retuned and someone in the State of ARizona prosecute Terry for horse theft as Turtle Rock did not board horses & the IRS claims that they don't board horses as it is not declared on their income tax returns.

Mary Terry d/b/a Turtle Rock Rescue in Fitzwilliam NH stole my identity by accessing my e mail account, using it as me & sending e mails to other people in New Hamphsire and Massachusetts. Federal Court case was dismissed for a procedural error.
She did so from her computer at the Department of Employment & Training in Leominster Massachusetts.
She and her husband sold my horses outof the State of NH so that I would not find them. As of this writing I have found two. One was sold to a dealer friend of Mary's in Stetson Maine and the other one was to a gal in Chester NH.
She continues to solicit funds via the internet for a rescue or "boarding farm" that was closed up by the NH State Vet's office in Nov 2004. She got a free house, free barns (courtesy of Morton Barns), 28 acres of land plus an indoor all for free. No one at the NH Ag's office is interested in prosecuting this woman for fraud. the husband Kenneth J. has disappeared - the Trustee's phone in Sierra Vista Arizona is disconnected - his name is Roger Henry (not the real estate Roger Henry)
The person who sent my horses to a "boarding farm" had no court order from any court in NH to remove anything so animals themselves are stolen as I hold all legal ownership documents. He just lied to everyone involved - including the Sheriff's Department. He & Kenneth J Terry signed a contract to board my horses (am over the age of l8) & turtle rock did not board horses - way for them to steal them.
don't know where Kenneth J. Terry is at present but he may be operating a clock repair shop or a "horse rescue" in the Western States.

d - is not an animal welfare person at all
e - paid his lawyer some 14,000 to hustle me when he refused to honor his own contract for service
f.- has a criminal record in arizona and wyoming - there are supposedly 22 warrants fro him someplace
g - there is no one in the area that has a good word to say about them
h - endangered the welfare of my horses - not anyone elses
i - has continued to lie about what his business dealings are
j - has a relationship with the chief of police in fitzailliam nh as he will not prosecute him for animal endangerement - when the state report is blatant about the neglect, curelty issues ie lack of food and water and mutilation of a horse (mine and the one that ken kicked while it was on the ground and broke its teeth)
k - made this threat againt my personal safety

FITZWILLIAM Just days after New Hampshire's state veterinarian accused them of cruelty to horses, the operators of Turtle Rock Rescue Inc., a shelter for abandoned horses, has closed its doors in Fitzwilliam.
It will become a private farm, and the 30 or so horses there will stay, said Mary Terry, who runs the shelter with her husband, Kenneth J. Terry.
After touring the farm in December and witnessing what he considered bad treatment, Dr. Clifford McGinnis, the veterinarian for the N.H. Department of Agriculture, suspended Turtle Rock's license to run a nonprofit horse shelter at 39 Laurel Heights Road.
Many horses were being forced to stand in 6 inches or more of mud 24 hours a day, and some pails of drinking water were frozen, McGinnis said.
Horses and mules wallowing in mud and manure, with no place to go to get dry and no clean bedded place to lay down, as well as not having access to clean fresh water at all times, constitutes cruelty, he wrote in a letter to Terry Dec. 28.
However, the suspension didn't force the shelter to close, McGinnis said.
We didn't shut them down. They shut themselves down, he said.
After McGinnis sent his letter, the Terry family had until Monday to ask for a hearing with the Department of Agriculture, McGinnis said.
Had the Terrys filed for a hearing and then worked to improve conditions at the shelter, the state would have let them keep the license, he said.
In a letter to McGinnis dated Dec. 29, Terry wrote that Turtle Rock's operators had already voted in November to shut down the farm, effective Jan. 1.
In part, Turtle Rock chose to close because it would be so expensive to follow the state's requirement to give horses a dry place to go after a rainstorm, Kenneth Terry wrote.
Just in 2004, over $9,000 in funding has been used to combat mud, he wrote.
If they wanted to avoid paying for fill, the Terrys could have poured concrete floors in the horse paddocks, but they think it would be unhealthy for horses to stand on concrete all day.
However, McGinnis said concrete can work if it's covered by rubber mats or some other layer of soft material. With mud everywhere, the horses have no choice except to sleep standing up.
Another issue is living space: McGinnis said the Terrys were housing up to three horses in structures that have only 144 square feet, and state agricultural rules require 100 square feet of living space per horse.
What will happen to the horses? Mary Terry said. They will remain in our care. We are a sanctuary and will remain a sanctuary. We need no state license. You just won't be able to visit us, unless we invite you as a personal friend to our private property.
We will continue to help our animal brothers. We will provide them safety, love, shelter and, above all, dignity, she said.
Mary Terry defended the farm, pointing to a state report that said all horses were in good condition.
Our biggest regret will be those animals we are unable to help. Without an outlet for adoption, over 100 equines a year will have to find a new place to go, Mary Terry said.
Since the farm became a licensed shelter in 2000, more than 100 horses have been adopted, she said.
McGinnis said a small, untreated wound was spotted on the left front leg of one horse, but the wound was small and probably would have healed on its own.
Still, he wasn't at all impressed with the Terrys.
He doesn't care about the horses, McGinnis said, referring to Kenneth Terry.
Fitzwilliam police probably won't pursue any criminal charges, Chief Bruce L. Newton said. Terry's intentions were good, but he just got a little ahead of himself in terms of the size of the shelter, Newton said.
Some of what goes on at Turtle Rock might barely meet the legal definition of cruelty, but if police pursued it, they might have trouble in court.
Not all judges are convinced that a horse standing in mud is bad for its health, Newton said.
McGinnis said he had been working with the Terry family for about two years, trying to improve conditions at the farm, and urging them to provide a dry place for the horses by replacing the mud with fill.
I was assured two years ago that heated waterers would be put in, McGinnis wrote in his Dec. 28 letter, adding, To maintain hydration, horses need free choice of water at all times.
But the Terrys didn't comply, and kept offering excuses about why the changes weren't happening, he said.
They kept stonewalling me and they got away with it for a year or two, McGinnis said.
In a prepared statement, Mary Terry said she will thank all of our supporters, both past, present and future, and especially those who entrusted their equines into our care. Thank you for the honor of allowing us to share in their lives.

McGinnis said he had been working with the Terry family for about two years, trying to improve conditions at the farm, and urging them to provide a dry place for the horses by replacing the mud with fill.
I was assured two years ago that heated waterers would be put in, McGinnis wrote in his Dec. 28 letter, adding, To maintain hydration, horses need free choice of water at all times.
But the Terrys didn't comply, and kept offering excuses about why the changes weren't happening, he said.
They kept stonewalling me and they got away with it for a year or two, McGinnis said.
In a prepared statement, Mary Terry said she will thank all of our supporters, both past, present and future, and especially those who entrusted their equines into our care. Thank you for the honor of allowing us to share in their lives.

first of all ken - I do not have a long history of suing people -or do you mean the people that ripped me off for 86k on my house and the lawyer who got himself disbarred for taking a bribe andnot giving me my money - that iswhat the courts are for

Ms. Miller, you are so lost in what is left of your mind that you're pathetic, along with the rest of your "gang". As far as losing in court for defamation of Character, I don't recall a single trip to court for that with you.
You're ALL TALK, you have yet to show one piece of evidence, whereas I HAVE posted the actual court documents. You did not VACATE the property in Hollis, you were EVICTED! You have a long history of suing people for your shortcomings, I have those records, would you like those posted, drag your "good name" through the mud? I can arrange for that.
You have continually violated a restraining order against you and you will suffer the consequences of the law for that very soon. The horses were adopted out after the court awarded us ownership. I will arrange for your State licenses to be revoked, an easy task. Maybe you should consider some stuffed toy horses, maybe you can support those!
I have copies of every correspondence between you and our organization, showing the more than ample amounts of times that we tried to allow you to retrieve your animals, and the court documents show that your "witness" Chief of police, verified that you did not have enough money according to the court document that you signed to pick up the horses.
Mr. McDonald will verify that you tried to sell your car that afternoon to obtain the rest of the money. Furthermore, you didn't even have a place to put them, except for an abandoned field in Milford. Over the last few months I have been sitting in the background collecting damaging evidence against you and I feel that I now have enough to shut you up once and for all!

The court papers on their web site, especially the transcript of the hearing of the restraining order, speaks volumes.
I don't know about in your state, but in many states, going on an internet forum and posting messages to the person you are prohibited from contacting in person or harrassing in public, would be a violation of the restraining order.
Doing character assassination on people you lost a court case to, really hurts your credibility, IMHO. Not trying to be mean, but just an unbiased person giving an opinion.

You should get your facts Straight. I was a Board Member. I have 4 people that can verify that information, along with documents sent out by Turtle Rock Rescue.
If you know both Ken and Mary, Then you know they change there story to fit the moment.
As for the 300K donation, there is no way on this earth they could have donated that, I also know for a fact the rescue has to report to the IRS who gave donations over I think 5K, something the rescue did not do.
Also any sane person would take the write off. That is what well off people do to off set there taxes.
I will be pulling the tax filings of Employment Links, Inc. as her wage would be listed.
As for being sued by the rescue for slander, Ken has posted all over the web we have increased there income, there for there lawsuit would be tossed out, as the rescue has not suffered any damage. As for Ken being a "wife beater" check out the AZ state website it tells the truth.

Please check our website: www.turtlerockrescue.org and click on the links for the court cases. You can make your own decisions from there. As far as putting in over 300K, it is not required to list it as anything. With people like Travis and Susan badmouthing us, however, we won't have to put as much of our own money into the organization, as their publicity is helping us tremendously. They sound more and more far-fetched everytime they open their mouths that people are actually feeling sorry for us for the "crap" that we have to put up with from people who have nothing better to do in life! We will continue to do what we've been doing.
As far as sex offender and wife beater, they really should watch out as there are no such records reflecting anything of the same nature. This will also be decided in a court of law. If anyone has further questions, please contact the rescue and the number on the website.

I'm an Ex-board member,
There is no way Mr or Mrs. Terry donated 300K, Mary works for a non-profit in MA, and Kenneth dose not work he just spends the money like it water flowing from the faucet. Inorder for Mary to give the rescue 300K that would break down to 60K a year and with all there bills she should have to make over 120K a year to just live. I could be wrong she may make over htat but the last time I knew she was making 65K a year. You can't live on 5k a year.
If Mary is making 120K or more from this non-profit I will be e-mailing the State of MA, as her non-profit is pay by the State of MA.

if you checked their tax returns - there is no presonal "300,000' by kenneth j and mary love terry - it is all 'doanted money' - if you chekc their tax records - they spent non of their own money - what they declared and waht they say are two different things - since turtle rock rescue is a public 50lc non for profit charity I have asked the Internal Revenue for a copy of all the horses that were 'doanted to' and 'adopted from' their organization for the years 2002 and 2003 - see contrary to mary terry's statments - it is a public charity started with a grant and public donations to help equines - not support kenneth j terry and mary l terry - even the animal control person for the town of fitzwilliam nh was against giving them a permit to operate - because they are con men and in this for themselves only - so if my horses were donated to turtle rock - then there should be a record - see I did not give them anything - on that statment that ken's alwyer had me sign ther eis the word 'title' see horses don't have 'titles' or 'title' - they have a bill of sale and a registration certificate - see I ahve both - the court did not give them anything they pulled a scam on me and fearing the 'killing' of my horses - I went along with their lawyer (who can go to jail along with ken and mary for this, by the way) - and the registrry has been notified that the animals are stolen - and then there is their 2003 income tax return - the 42,000 horse from florida that needed 42,000 at the rochester equine clinic - I have asked congressman bass office to get the records from this 'non profit public charity' - if the horse had to come to new hamsphire from floida for surgery, it would have been dead before it left ocala (reddick) florida - see ken took 6000 of donated money and went on a bender and covered it up with a 'cow resuce' in montana - it is on their web page of 'where we have been' - and like the horse with the 42k worth of colic surgery the cows would have been dead before ken got to montana to resuce them - it was a cover up for a 6000 bender to las vegas with karin austin's husband - and ken took his daughter to csu where she is in vet tech school - ken does not have gas money to do a rescue - he either drinks it or snorts it - the rescue is a cover to support mary'sother business 'grandview farm equestrian' in jaffrey nh - she had a constant supply of nice horses to sell - and the other thing is that they don't care where the horses go as long as they get the $400.00 for them - no concern for the welfare of the horse one bit - that is why the gelded my horse in june - the hight of bug season - ken is luck that goober did not die from the infection that he and his quack vet gave the horse when they cut his balls off - right kenny - I did not give him 'title' to the horses for the bill - I did not give them their papers or a bill of sale (both of which are in my bank box) - I was not threatened with arrest, threatened to be shot at, have a restaraining order on, harassed at work and got into my e mail account (like mary did ) and ken and mary should check the facts as they are nothing more than scam artists and horse thieves - period and end of discussion - and hopefully the irs will shut them down - but mary won'tbe able to keep their new morton barns and new indoor that is being built as the buildings will have to be bought at 'fari market value' and or 'doanted to anyother charity' - but ken and mary do what they want with other people's property and sell it like the clocks that werer left at ken's shop for repair - they ended up on e bay being sold in the name of turtle rock rescue - and then he bought scuba gear - horses are good swimmers, ken - even cats both large and small are good swimmers -

see sherri there was no board due as the landlord shut the water off and did not tell anyone that he did it - there is a state law in nh rsa 540 about termination of utilities and the landlord fapayette did so anyway - he wanted me to give him 5000 for 1/2 of his new well (he testified to that fact under oath) - and I paid him for the months of 8/01 - 9/01 and he refused the money on l0/01 (I have a copy of a statement from him) -
he tried to sue me in district court for 6800 +/- in back rent but the other district court told him that he could not claim rent after that date l0/01 - when the turtle rock folks stole my horses they were told that I owed back rent but I did not - ken and mary are so stupid that they did not read the paperwork - ken just found 7 horses that they could sell for big $$ - and when I went to get them and pay the board (see I did not sign the contract for service - someone else did - and in contract law it the person who signs the contract as neither party had any legal authority to sign the cotnract for me) -
again ken listened to a minister who has no clue as to what he is doing and just wanted to make a huge scene in taking my horses from me - and then the minister person filed a false police report with the town of fitzwilliam (I have a copy of that) ken again hustled me for my hroses - and then on 6-22-02 they gelded my stallion - not the property owner's horse (even trr was told that the horse belongdd to payette) - see I have all the reg papers -

Susan, almost all of the farms/boarding facilities want their money before you remove the horses from the premises. It is the only security they have that they will recoup their losses. I am a race horse owner myself, and know that the same thing applies to removing your horses from the track..the trainers want their day money and other bills paid before removing a horse from the track and/or releasing the horses papers.
Also, if you don't pay the trainer or vet bills, you can also get ruled off. I understand you being upset about losing your horses, but it sounds to me as if you are a bit over your head maintaining a race horse and trying to pay farm bills. They didn't "steal" your horses; they took action to cure a default in your agreement to pay.
