Lean Spa, LLC LeanSpa charged my credit card $79.99 X 2 ($159.98) only 7 days after purchasing samples on-line without getting authorization from me. Upset Rachel Ray supported this product. Orange, Connecticut

I saw Lean Spa's products advertised on line.  What really interested me was that Rachel Ray supported Lean Spa's weight loss system. I was impressed by the fact that she reported weight loss herself by using this product. On 03/15/11 I ordered 2 samples from Lean Spa.  I ordered a free 1 month supply which I had to pay seperate postage and handling for each.  I paid $4.95 for Lean Spa Dietary Supplement and $3.95 for the Lean Spa cleanse.

I went on vacation and didn't even try the Lean Spa products before my credit card was charged.  I did not authorize another order with Lean Spa.  On 03/22/11 (only 7 days after ordering my free 1 month samples) my credit card had 2 charges from Lean Spa for $79.99.  A total charge of $159.98.  I called Lean Spa and told them that I may have been interested in their product, but won't do business with a company that does business this way.  I must admit Lean Spa did take care of the charges immediately.

I also reported this to my credit card company and filed a dispute.  They have had my other reprted cases from Lean Spa.

It is a scam!!!!

I read all terms and conditions, I ordered this product as the consumer, I agreed to a 14 day Trial with 30 days to send the product back and having to call in within the 14 day trial offer to cancel. well what happened to me was they charged me 79.99 Twice within 4 days of the trial period. They sent me a nother 30 day supply i recieved in the mail on the 13th day of trial and they tried to charge my credit card again 79.99. My advise is not to order in the first place, But if you have like I did, Keep all reciepts from them, With dates and them saying you are only being charged shipping and charges. Close your credit account. Because Lean Spa is in breech of there contract if they bill you for the full amount before the 14 days . In my case it was unauthorized!!! And I know from what others are saying it was also unauthorzed. So Report To the BBB in Ct about this company if you have fallen a victim. THere is no way anyone can say its not a scam, If they are billing us in full before the 14 day trial period. They dont answer the phone until after 14 days  is up because our phone no. links them to our account. As soon as my 14 days were up they answered within 2 mins, I was on hold for 20, 30, and 45 mins prior to the 14 days. They also said on the automated cancell via phone my account was closed but when i talked to a live person they said my account was in fact still open with an appology. Beware to all, Save all documentation between you and lean spa to help if you need to dispute your unauthorized charges from leanspa on your credit card. Also point your credit card co, to this web site and the BBB of CT. I read the terms and conditions And LeanSpa didnt follow through with the agreement the put in place.

Well the most things people fail to do is read the terms and conditions. Me my self read them all the way from up to down and down to up, when you click the I have read the Terms and conditions box they assume YOU have read them, so yes I can see why people would say they would have been scammed NO. They click the box due to lazy to read what I am set up on. It is your fault if you did not the read them, you had the choice to read them but you have failed to do so, It's States right there that you are set up on a Reccurring monthly shipping program and they will ship you more, if they charge you early they will be happy to refund your money, but if sent a product early just get the RMA or Return Merchandise Authorization # to simply right on the outside of the package, go to the post office, get a tracking number and BAM! Worry free, people are lazy to admit they fail to read the terms and conditions on most of every product they sign up for. Also states a Free trial yes it is a free trial not a FREE bottle people get the FREE and just assume it will be FREE but yes they state it is a free trial they do go by there word just another thing people fail to understand, and if your charged early just call and LeanSpa CSR people will be happy to assist you, I use to work for CSR on a lot of thing that have terms and conditions and we hate getting yelled at for your lack of not Reading on the button you agree to, so next time please read on what you sign up for under the "Terms And Conditions" box that you your self click or agree to don't fail to read it and yell at people for your mistake, Also it is 14 days, 30 days money back here let me go ahead and make you understand more I call it the Copy paste proof to your Failure of reading, YOUR PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCT THROUGH THIS WEBSITE CONSTITUTES ENROLLMENT IN THE LEANSPA PROPER WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM MEMBERSHIP AND ADVANCE CONSENT TO MONTHLY PRODUCT SHIPMENTS AND CHARGES, AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
