I am a very small seller on EBAY, and up until this auction at Liquidation.com, I have purchased only in lots of 30 or less items. Buying a wholesale lot of 100 pieces was BIG for me, so, prior to that, I did a lot of research and even paid several fees to get recommended liquidation wholesaler lists so I could find the right place to buy children's designer clothes to sell on EBAY. Like I said, I am small-time, I work full time and only sell on EBAY to help make ends meet.

I became a member of Liquidation.com and put a bid on an auction that was entitled: "TOMMY HILFIGER-US POLO-CARTERS-AMY BYER INFANTS & CHILDREN'S CLOTHES" The ad claimed to be for "100 units of designer & name brand infant and children's clothing". 25 or more name brands were listed, and about 20 pictures were in the ad for viewing. I paid $650 for the lot, plus shipping and a 5% buyer's premium which brought the total to $722.75. I paid via credit card on July 5, and the merchandise was delivered to me on July 13th.

What I received was one of each of the items pictured in the auction, which were the designer items. The rest of the lot is pure junk. 25!!! of the items are infant t-shirts fit for a dollar store. There are also 5 plain white boys t-shirts, 12 sleeveless infant sleepers (why sleeveless?) and a number of untagged items that look like I took them right out of my children's dresser drawers. This entire LIQUIDATION lot is hardly worth the $700 I paid for it. I will be lucky to make back half of what I paid.

I immediately put in a dispute for Gross Misrepresentation following all the guidelines in the Liquidation.com policies. That was to fax a completed dispute form to them and e-mail pictures of the disputed items. This was to be done within 2 days following receipt of the shipment, which it was.

Today, I received a reply from Liquidation.com that my dispute cannot be honored, and they listed 2 reasons. One, that I did receive 1 of each of the brands listed, and two, that the 25 undershirts were of a brand listed. THAT'S the explanation!

I am not satisfied with this, and I feel that I have been seriously ripped off. Can you please help?
