On September 14, 2010, I traveled from LAX to VNO on Lufthansa Airline's flights LH 451 and LH 3254.

I am writing to report an incident that has cost my company and myself time and money.

Since I am a sales representative for CK Dental Industries, I was scheduled to attend a conference for The European Society of Microscopic Dentistry in Vilnius, Lithuania from September 16, 2010-September 18, 2010.

My suitcase containing Dental Instruments (that was to be sold) was misplaced by Lufthansa Airlines and didnt make it to Lithuania with me.

Upon my arrival in VNO (Vilnius, Lithuania) on 9/15/10, I immediately reported my lost suitcase to the office located within the airport.

The representative at the VNO office reported my claim and I was assigned a reference number.

Upon calling the Vilnius phone number on 9/16/10, the representative stated that my baggage could not be located anywhere in the system and I was instructed to keep calling back.

I averaged 4-5 calls per day and I received the same reply each time: We do not know where the suitcase is.

On 9/18/10, the suitcase containing my dental instruments was finally delivered to my hotel room (on the night prior to my departure from Vilnius). The conference ended earlier that day on 9/18/10.

I did not have an opportunity to display or sell my products at the conference due to Lufthansa Airline's mishandling of my baggage. I therefore lost out on revenue and future recurring sales.

Due to this incident, I asked Lufthansa to compensate back to me and my company the following:

Airline Ticket: $1549.38

Conference Vendor Fee: $2350.00

Accommodations: $500.00

Lost revenue: $30,000.00

Lost income: $3750.00

I asked them to send me the compensation in the form of a check within the next 7 days.I asked them to respond within 48 hours.

I have yet to hear back from them.
