MDG Computers RIP OFF! STOLE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND WON'T RETURN Ontario

I called to check on a laptop. I liked the product that they had with a touch screen. After I found out that they wanted to charge 49% interest I told them they were crazy. But yet they still charged my checking account. I called them that Monday and they said sorry it was an error and the money would be back in 72 hours. I said ok. Here it is 10 days later and not only have I not gotten my refund. They will not return my calls. Stay Away from these crooks.

I am currently financing with MDG, and I've never had any problems with them. I know that during the appliaction process you can schedule your own first payment. If you scheduled that payment before you told them they were crazy, and didn't cancel your account, then the payment will still be taken. It's automated, once its with your bank its with your bank.
Unless you tell them to stop the payment, it won't be stopped. So even though you said they were crazy, you probably didn't say don't take that payment on March 31st, and you probably didnt say cancel my contract... those are magic words.
I work for a bank and I know that it takes 3-9 business days for a payment to clear. Most financial institutions won't issue a refund if the funds haven't been released to them.
I would follow up. If its been 9 business days since the payment has been taken from your account, and you don't see if deposited back into your account. Give the finance deparment a call.
