This person offers you benefits when you start, but once you are hired you don't get any benefits what so ever. No Vacation Days, No Sick Days and No Health Insurance.
Once you start working you are offered an annual salary, if you so happen to be sick for a couple of days she will change you to hourly 4 days before pay check, because you have so many hours to make up and she doesn't want to pay you. So lets say you work 48 hours in one week because you thought you were making up hours, but the following week you are told you are hourly for the past two weeks. Well guess what, she refuses to pay you anything over 40 hours even though ITS THE LAW!!! By the way, this is a law office, go figure.

When you start she thinks you don't know anything, so she throws all these illegal stuff at you. She has several clients that owe her money so she wants the beginner even lawyers to call the clients and threaten them with a lien. First of all, she is too cheap to hire a collections agency because she doesn't want to pay them 1/3 of what they collect. So basically she takes advantage of you. First and foremost, the lawyers and several other employees have told her we can not put a lien on a clients house, it's against the law. She will tell the beginner anyway.

She takes full advantage of anyone that is new, if you are hired as a receptionist be prepared to work as a paralegal and get paid as a receptionist.
