This place was a nightmare from the start. The whole process was a joke. First and foremost, I was ripped off! I found out later that I paid six times the amount of what it should have been. This was my first and last time at this place. I wanted to try something new to save some money but boy was that a mistake. I buy my material from scrap yards and they have better quality things and are way cheaper. So heed this warning, stay away from that dump unless you like being financially assaulted! Try B and B recycling in Villa Park. They have a better range of metal and have prices that one can afford! DO NOT BUY from METAL SUPERMARKETS! Worst place ever!

When you have an anonymous posting, it is difficult to determine if you have upset a customer or if a competitor or a disgruntled ex-employee is trying to hurt you.
Armando put the complaint in the 'racist' category but does not describe any racist behaviour. Just that we are expensive.
We don't buy or sell scrap metals at Metal Supermarkets. If you wish to buy scrap, he is correct. You should go to a recycling center.

Our services include custom, one-off and production cutting on our automated band-saws, hole punching and notching on our iron worker and precision waterjet cutting as close as .005" of a inch.
With a network of stores in 4 countries, we carry most standard grades, sizes and shapes. Certainly many more options than a scrap yard. If we don’t have what you need, we’ll source the material for you!
