My husband and I have been customers of Metro PCS since 8/2008 and have never had this problem before. Our bill was due on the 2nd of each month, we fell into financial problems for a month and we were not able to pay Metro PCS for Feb 2009, therefore, our phone was turned off and we were without the phone for a month. We went into a payment location and paid a for a months service for the month of March on 2/28/2009. Three days later, the phone was turned off. We paid $55 to use our phone for 3 days! We called customer service, it's hard to actually talk to a PERSON because its all automated.
I finally got through to a person and asked to speak to a supervisor and I was on hold for almost 30 minutes, never speaking to a supervisor and anyone else for that matter. I feel like we were ripped off by Metro PCS and I think that they should either refund my money or turn my phone back on. It is POINTLESS to pay for a full month that we did not use, or couldn't use, just to use it for ONE day and then have to pay for another full month 3 days later.

I DID pay for March, not Feb. We were even told by customer service that if we waited a day later, that all we had to do was pay for March and we would have a new number. No one told us that until after they had our money and shut the phone off. Why should we or anyone have to pay for a month that was not used because the company shut the phone off?

You DID NOT pay for March on 2/29/09 you paid for February. When you are past due any amount of payment goes to the past due amount first. If you did not pay Feb's payment then on 2/29/09 paid for ONE MONTH of service, you were paying the past due amount from February NOT March. They obviously caught this and shut your phone back off.
