I had reservations about signing up for the 18.88 monthly tanning withdrawals from my credit card, but did it anyway. I used a card that I had not used for nearly a year. Nothing else was on that card. A few months after having the membership, my credit card information was stolen. Within a period of 10 days, a company that claims I had a membership with them withdrew $2,800 before my credit card company called me with suspicions. Even though my credit card was cancelled, Midnight Sun and Cruise continued to try to withdraw the money. I was told they would continue to accrue monthly charges until MSC receives a certified letter from me, cancelling my membership. I should have known better. Beware of signing up with Midnight Sun and Cruise! Also, I hated the high pressure tactics used to convince people to buy expensive lotions and "better" tanning memberships.
