I too am another victim. All that I have read thus far has happened to me as well. But what about the photo shoots? Was anyone else scammed on that too?
I was convinced (being a new-comer) and sold on the $498 photo shoot with a "professional photographer, make-up artist, 4 diverse looks, 20 slots on [my] digital comp card, and compact disc with 50 pictures."
The photographer was anything but professional. He cancelled on me 2 weeks in a row. The second week I never even got a phone call to cancel. I piled all of my belongings (they said to bring all of my clothes, make-up, jewelry, and props) into two cars and drove 50+ miles to the San Francisco photo shoot. I couldn't find the "studio", so luckily I had the photographers phone number with me and I called him. That is when he told me that there was no photo shoot. I went through hell to get ready for that photo shoot!
So it's 9:00am and I'm 50 miles away from home, in sweat pants with no make-up on and my hair in a ponytail (they said no make-up and no hairstyle so the make-up artist had a fresh slate), and I can't even enjoy The City because, except for a professional photo shoot, I would never leave my house in that condition.
IT'S BEEN 7 MONTHS AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THAT "PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SHOOT" AND THE TCTALENT REP SAID MY MONEY WAS NOT REFUNDABLE! Why do I have to pay for a SERVICE NOT RENDERED?!?! And my house is still in shambles from packing all of my belongings into my car for nothing. I'm still trying to put everything back where it belongs.
In total I have paid over $1200 to TCTalent directly, not to mention costly hair cuts, manicures, pedicures, clothes, dry cleaning, gas, time off work, all just to PREPARE for a photo shoot I never got and a grand opportunity that I will never experience!!
