Complaint Review: Monitronics
MonitronicsInternet United States of America
Monitronics gave us crap equipment and have had the fire department at our house twice because of it. Internet
I told them that I would like to cancel my contract. They told me sure and told me the amount I would owe after cancellation (1,100 dollars). I said I don't think I should have to pay for something that is not working. And also asked if they are going to pay the fire departments bills for the false alarms.
When told me that they will send out a service tech to fix the smoke alarm I asked again if they will pay my fire department bills and find me a new job after I have to leave work early again. She said the contract states they are not responsible for those things. And it does state that.
Kris Lunsford from Power Home Technologies sold me this service and I never saw this coming. For some odd reason I am not on the emergency contacts list, so I find out about the alarms from my sister. I have tried to change my emergency contacts list on the computer but it won't let me.
The equipment is not reliable and the service center is useless. Monitronics and power home technologies is a SCAM! I should have looked it up first but instead i will pay for this mistake for the next four and a half years. We live in a bad neighborhood and Kris took advantage of that.
