this company should be shut down immediately, myself and other people have been ripped off by this company.
they claim to be able to guarantee a loan mod but w
hen you don't have success, they don't refund any money as the contract says. each time we call there are new people working there and recently a very nice man who was brand new, told us that he would get us our refund or he would quit. We called the next day and he was not there...so we know he could not get the owner to refund our money.
We went in to get our money and Alina the front desk person told us that stan - the owner- was not in, but we know he is avoiding us. our negotiotor was also telling us she was trying to get our money back too.
if anyone else is getting this run around please report this company to save more people from getting stolen from Mortgage Assistance Group in glendale arizona.

Final MAG Rebuttal ******CASE CLOSED*****
AUTHOR: MAG Management - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, May 26, 2010
POSTED: Wednesday, May 26, 2010MAG has a mission, and that mission is to alleviate the financial burdens mortgage borrowers have undertaken during the greatest economic meltdown our nation has seen since the great depression. To date, MAG has managed to follow this mission effectively and ethically. Over 500 families have been saved from foreclosure and/or experienced a drastic reduction in their mortgage payments due to the dedicated efforts of the organization. That accounts to millions of dollars in monthly mortgage payments savings and even more in local community housing burdens such as vandalism, increased taxes and the further devaluation of neighborhood values.
There were some unfortunate events recently that prevented current and former MAG employees from receiving their payroll checks. By no means was this a conscious choice on the behalf of MAG. The three reasons are as follows:
1, Industry Blow back: Due to the viewed risk by many credit merchants, who provide credit/debt and financial solutions for companies in the loan modification industry, many have decided to suspend and/or no longer offer services to loan modification companies.
2. Modified Pay Schedule: After we found we had make changes to our employee pay schedule in order to offset the events listed above, we immediately notified all employees about the new check disbursement schedule and pay scale adjustments so that their were no surprises. Most willingly and cordially accepted the move however others chose to make matters worse by taking this change personally.
This was obviously due to their own inability to survive through the transition and unwillingness to make a small sacrifice on behalf of the company for all of our current and future clients.
3. Lender Timeframe Due to Trial Modifications Our industry has experienced an increase of trial modifications due to the recent government programs that were passed by our countries current administration. Although this is a good thing because more clients fit the new guidelines and criteria, an unexpected consequence to this was files took longer to close and overhead costs increase as our standard fee is the lowest by both national and local comparisons. Our low pay-in-full options and affordable pay-as-you go plans were now in limbo to be redesigned. Since more new clients were coming in and current client modification files remained open, a heavy strain was placed on the administrative efforts of our negotiation department.
All three of these factors prevented MAGs employees from receiving the bi-weekly payroll checks they had come to expect from MAG for over last three consecutive years. This also prevented MAG from meeting its well known and expected customer service and turn around time levels.
Ultimately instead of penalizing the people we care about by most, our homeowners, and raising the cost of our services, MAG decided to move offices and reorganize in order to cut internal costs. This served to keep the normal business flow and control file disruption.
MAG is formally apologizing to those who were negatively affected by these unfortunate events.
Throughout this entire debacle MAG has handled each and every complaint and concern on a case by case basis. Some employees chose the unfortunate route to create stories about what really happened at a time when things were easily pushed out of control. Expressing opinions about what occurred or what should have occurred was ill-effective and has only led to more confusion rather than a productive positive outcome.
The company is formally requesting that any and all lingering issues, if any at all, be immediately brought to the attention of MAG directly so that they may be resolved. Let it be known that public defamation can and does have some recourse when and if a company decides to gather evidence and pursue a case.
MAG has completed its transition to the new office and kept its pricing where it should be as to benefit the homeowners who need us most. If you have any questions about this article or more concerns we ask that you do the right thing and call our company directly.

Disgruntled Employee
AUTHOR: MAG employee - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, March 29, 2010
POSTED: Monday, March 29, 2010Im currently an employee of MAG and Im offended and discouraged that someone would copy and paste a report that MAG has already responded to. We stand by our company and the work that we have and continue to do. Our main goal is to provide a great service to our current and future clients. Fortunately, we already know who this person is and MAG will continue to prevail and keep the most important factor in our sight, our commitment to our clients. We invite any past, current and future clients to inquire and ask about our service. We will be pleased to share the successes of our company in aiding, so many families save their home. This person who continues to badger the reputation of the company has to admit that they personally have seen the satisfaction, and sigh of relief that we have provided our families. We are committed to our families, despite the feelings of ex-employees. We have high hopes, that this person will find solace in knowing that they too, were a part of something beneficial and worthwhile.
Thank you,
MAG

Stan Allotey the CEO has failed to pay them and they had to quit! He has over 100 files that are open for home owners who think their Mortgages are getting worked on but no one is there working on them!
They are there looking for their pay. And I know first hand because I am one of the employees! Someone needs to stop this all these hard working customers are going to loose their homes because of this. Look at our BBB rating for gosh sakes!

POSTED: Friday, October 30, 2009I would advise everyone to stay away from this company and hire someone else to do your loan modification. There are new people working there because the owner does not know how to treat his employees. As far as the owner Stan not being in the office and avoiding you I am sure he was avoiding you. He likes to hide out and let his employees go to battle for him.

I am very proud to work for Mortgage Assistance Group. They have
and continue to help hundreds of families keep their homes. Everyday I see great
modifications come in for customers who are scared and worried that they will
lose their homes. Example, Miguels payment went from $900 to $700 including insurance
and taxes. Just today
in NY went from $2700 to $1600. Debra went from an interest only payment of
$1000 to $800 principle, interest, insurance and taxes. Santino saved $500.00 a
month!
The money back guarantee is real. I have only seen one case of
hundreds where Mortgage Assistance Group had not been able to help as this
client came to us after his home was already foreclosed on.
Mortgage Assistance Group mission is to help families save
their homes, save our communities and strengthen families as owning a home is the American dream. I am pleased to work at Mortgage Assistance Group,
saving families one home at a time.
