I took my Jeep to Mr. Transmission Duluth GA for servicing. They diagnosis my car and told me it was a transmission problem they gave me an estimated between $1500 -$ 1800 for part and labor. Three days after that, I get a call from Tin Edelman/manager stated that I need another part for my car. Which will cost me some exact and the total cost for labor and part will be $ 2900.00.

Shortly after picking my car at Monday, few weeks after, leaving me with a car in the same condition.  I return the car for the second time. One of their employers by the name of bobby checked the car and said nothing was wrong with it.   I knew something was wrong, because am still experienced the same problem when driving the car so I left. After another six week the car start acting up again this time not just the same condition, but even worse.  I return it again for the third time and spoke with bobby; again he told me that he cannot check the car without the engine light on.  So I left (again) after another few week again the same issue arises again I call the shop approx 2:40 pm spoke with the Manager Tin Edelman on the phone

Mr. Tin Edelman was very irate very unprofessional and patronized to me he just hangs up the phone on me, no matter how calm I was. I wait for about 20min I called back this time bobby, picked the phone up I explained to him concerning the problem again.  That have been three different places to diagnosis the car and everyone of these places, Pep boys, Auto Zone, AAMCO all saying the same thing (transmission problem)   And he told me to bring the car in again. That Tuesday at approx 8:05am, I return the car and get a renter car while they say they ‘were working on it.

On Wednesday I called, because no one calls me back to let me know what was going on with my car. At that time bobby, told me that I need to come over to put some gas in the car for them to ride it around to see what the problem was. I asked him if there a way for them to put a gas in the car and I will pay back they say no. And I told him when I drop the car off gas was in. And he said there was not gas. Because I don’t want to argue I went over the next day and put gas in the car and left. On Friday I got a call for bobby telling me that they think the sensor in my car is mess up and I have to pay another $600 to fix it.  I refuse to pay that amount, because I knew they were lying so I pickup my car the next day.

On Friday I took the car to Centerville Auto Center for diagnoses to see if the senor in my car is going badly. They did diagnosis and told me that both sensors are good and however said that, they’re lying.  After a week (again) I encounter the same   problem again with my car. That Wednesday approx 8:45am I went to the same place again (Centerville Auto Center) to diagnosis my car. This time to find out if my transmission was ok. They diagnosis the car and find out that, the transmission have a problem.   Remember, that have been to three different places and this one is the fourth place all of them saying the same things with I have the report  of the diagnoses.

Please Please!!!!!! Everyone DONNOT take you car to Mr. Transmission in Duluth GA.

I have done research and found that this man is a complete CON ARTIST. They are numerous court files against this company. Why this company/ Alan Polson Owner still on business in GA with three locations???? Presently as am writing this letter am using a renter car, because am afraid to drive my car. Please somebody need to help!!!!!!

Still Shady after all those years

I had a almost exact duplicate ecperience with the owner an staff at Mr transmission in Duluth Ga.I broght my car in for a new alternator after a few days they said it was ready I could pick it up when I arrived the entire  front was dissassembled and they said I needed a new engine ecetera.I said that is not what you told me I do not wish to repair it.The younger Mechanic Bobby was visibly upset and took me aside and explained that this was not his way and that he was ashamed that his cousin (Mr Polson was indeed the most dishonest person) and that I did not need a new engine and additional repairs just small harmonic balance part.Which he would replace himself since he felt his rep as a mech was compromised.The car ran great for a week when it would not start a week later I called back to speak with Bobby but was not allowed to by Mr Polson who was quite rude and nasty saying he told me there was no warenty on the work I would have never repaired it under such conditional terms 900.00 wasted .
