Hello there!
I am writing you to let you know that I got ripped off from the car dealership because I bought a car from them and they never told me that the car was in an accident. I bought the car and 1 week later I brought the car back to them telling them about some of the problems that I was haveing with the car and he the (dealer) told me that he would fix the problems and that I wouldn't have to pay for them and I ended up haveing to pay for the repairs. I feel as though I shouldn't have because I have a 2 yea warrenty for the car. That isn't even the worst part. Well I took my car to a few other car dealers to trade my car in and they told me that my car isn't worth anything because the whole frame is bent it was in a real bad accident. The engine is slanted and the frame isn't lined up ect. I took it to a body repiar specialist and he did an overall body inspection and gave me a total of $4,150.16 worht of damage to the car not even puttin the car on a lift or nothing. I have three children that ride in that car every day and I think that it is very unssafe for me to drive them in it, after one of the dealers said that if I get somehting cought under my car that I will be good as dead because the frame is bent that bad. The dealer that I bought it from didn't even tell me that the car was in an accident. I am affraid to drive my car . When I go down the highway on I-95 my hood looks like it will blow up into the windshield and that is hazerdous. ALl in all my car is a LEMON and I want to get my money back one way or the other.

LGW

#1 UPDATE Employee

customer is upset because they tried to trade it in and the dealer would not give them enough money

AUTHOR: Thomas - Manager - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 28, 2003

We are writing in response to the customer complaint from over 2 years ago, we would have responded sooner if we had known about this report.

The vehicle they are talking about was sold with a clean title and was "Carfax Certified"."No" history of any frame damage nor did we do any body work to the vehicle. The customer is upset because they tried to trade it in and the dealer would not give them enough money for their car, of course I forgot to mention the fact that they put over 11,000 miles in less than 4 months (almost 1 year worth of driving).

We, New Castle Motors, are an independent dealer that averages about 45 cars sold a month and rely on repeat customers and referrals which we receive alot of. As a car dealer selling used cars we would like to keep every customer happy but we know it is impossible to please everyone 100%.

Anyway, this customer bought the car on
Jan. 8,2001 and persued to take us to court 1yr. later to try to receive money back for their deal. just so you know, we were prepared to go to court to resolve this issue, but the customer was required to file what is called a "Bill of particulars" for the court to show cause for their complaint. The case was dismissed due to no proof of damages to their vehicle, basically the customer did not follow through with the case. They just wanted revenge without reason.
I hope this clears up any questions about this complaint. If needed, we have all documentation pertaining to this deal, along with a copy of the Carfax report for our records.

Thank You, New Castle Motors
