New Face Development Center In Hicksville NY SCAM!! Hicksville New York

Please everybody DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! I learned the hard way for not doing my research...
I was approached by a nice looking guy at Roosevelt mall in Long Island telling me that I had what it takes to be a SUPER model, that now latinas are in style and bla bla bla so I filled out a form and within 2 days a woman called Isabel contacted me. I went to their office (which by the way is very hard to find) and gave it a try, I told them that I had been in some movies as an extra and had a little experience with posing, modeling clothes and make up. They told me everything I needed to hear to make me sign a deal of $800 for pictures. I gave them a deposit because I didn't have everything at the moment then they dropped the "We need another $500 to put you in our website so scouters can have better access to your profile" and I told her I wasn't aware there was more money involve but I was going to think about it.

I got home and something wasn't right so I went online and found out that this company has over 50 complaint of angry customers and many lawsuits!!! at that moment I call them and they told me I have to send them a certified letter by mail within 3 business days and allow 30 days to process if I wanted my money back so I did... 30 days went by I called and spoke with pretty much the entire staff, nobody knew where the money was. 45 days went by and I started getting really upset not only because of the money but because of all the information this people had like my ss# and credit card info.

They kept giving me the run around with the money until my husband making believe he was my lawyer called them and asked to speak with the "manager" Mrs Sullivan. She said "your account has been credited 3 days ago" (BS) ... But we didn't buy it. We get there and guess what THERE IS NO ONE WITH THAT NAME, No MRS SULLIVAN ... My husband went crazy on them until they credited my account right infront of us and gave me my papers so I can take back my information...

All this could have been avoided if I would have done my research, please do not fall for this kind of scam... After this experience I went to a proffesional fotographer for half of the money and got into nycastings for $100 a year.... LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES!!!
