I am currently in forecolsure. my wife and I have tried unsuccesfully since 4/02 to refinance, or to get a reverse mortgage.
We started this over 1 year, We could never reach Ocwen Codllis by phone, fax. Nor the 1st Mortgage Co.
Finally the 2nd Mortgage Co. request a pay off letter in 1/03 which was faxed on 3/27/03.
Guess What??? Legal fees, Interest, Late Payments, and everything else Total $210,000. application DENIED!!! My mortgage only $153,000.
I truly belive if this was handled in a timely matter,
the Mortgages would have been processed. We are seniors and have lived in our community for 38 years. Also our morgage with Ocwen was sold by this other GREAT Co. DELTA!!!
I know that Ocwen wants my property, but we will fight them until the end!!!!!!

Ocwen finally has our property for sale, we have 25 days to save our home. again we have called/faxed and finally(this morning @ 8:15am.) spoken to Mr. Michael Neal requesting the pay off letter only to be told "I just came in, computer not up, leave your name/telephone#". My attorney has requested this information from their attorney, but some how we can not receive this. we have been trying to get this pay off for 8-12mos. what does it take for people in our position to get information that is needed to pay them off??? This bank should be called: Ocwen round around no information home theives.
We would like every one on this web site to know that we belive and have faith in GOD that this sale will not happen, because GOD can do anything but Fail!!!

No payoff letter instead a Foreclosure Judgement Sale

Today 1/14/04 we received a Judgement filed 1/6/04 stating Wells Fargo, Delta Funding, Ocwen Federal will auction our property. this judgement does not state an auction date! this legal document came from an attorney in Garden City, NY. We are asking all on this site to please pray for us and let God have his way in this sitiutation. We will go forward and speak to an attorney asap.
We really do not understand these documents because of many legal terms. I guess this is what happen when you try to contact and fax documents requesting a payoff letter: thanks to MR.MICHAEL NEAL @ OCWEN FEDERAL BANK (he is the person whom we could not reach by phone/fax, but some how just last week MR. NEAL mailed us another letter requesting our tax information. We do not know who and how, where Wells Fargo Bank came into the picture ( what a racket). If any one on this site can help, please reply.

however we can not get a pay off letter. we received a letter from a Mr. Michael Neal requesting our tax statements and income information. and on the back of that form letter it states what will happen in the event of a foreclosure, and how they can "help".ie: forebearence. what a joke! how could this be when our credit report shows foreclosure?????. We have called this person many, many times, left messages, no reply. also faxed letters requesting the payoff to date no reply. we just want to pay Ocwen and clear our credit report. We will continue to pray that God will have his way with Ocwen. and settle all of these complaints againt Ocwen.

I am a victim of the same situation. Just recently, I was blessed to get my loan refinanced. I almost didn't get financed because of the charges Ocwen had on my payoof. They even put an advance escrow of over $5,000, and I don't even have an escrow! Nevertheless, I will request the full amount as soon as I have proof that they have cashed the check. For three months, I had been requesting a payoff until one day I had to get indignant with one of Moss codilis's staff and fax a complaint to the Bank President, finally I got my payoff but it was all wrong and too many unexplained charges!!!!
If your interest rate is 10% or more, there is an organization called "NACA" that will refinance your home, check into it. Just go to naca.com and read their information. Also, if it get too rough, file bankruptcy and just put your house in it. I was in that too, my refinance got me out of that. With the trustee fee and my mortgage, I was paying 1,200 a month when my mortgage is only $700.
You are aware of a class-act law suit?
I'll remember you in my prayers and believe that God will get you through this horror of a mortgage company.
