On Line Returns W/ Liquidation.com, Liquidity.com Sold completely defective goods to us. TRASH is the word. DO NOT BUY anything from On LIne Returns on this website / from this company. Cost us over 700.00 and we are over 50 and raising grandchildren. Washington DC

This is abslutely a huge problem with eBay.  eBay facilitates return fraud and enables scammers to easily steal from eBay sellers.  All a buyer has to do is file a claim for "Item Not as Described" and eBay will take the funds from the sellers bank account and force a refund.  When a return case is opened, there is no option to dispute.  You either issue a full refund (without getting your product back) or approve the return, in which case the seller must pay for return shipping AND eBay keeps their fees.  So at the end of the day either the buyer gets the item for free or the seller is out 2 way shipping costs and either way eBay keeps their 8-10% on fees. 

To make matters worse, to return the item all the buyer has to do is send SOMETHING back with a tracking number (at the seller's expense).  It happens all the time - people get fake jewelry in exchange for real, outdated electronics in exchange for new, etc. etc.  Don't take my word for it just google search it and you will see hundreds if not thousands of horror stories where eBay has helped buyers commit fraud AND profited from it.  eBay customer service representatives have admitted to me that you shouldn't sell anything on eBay that you cannot afford to lose it.  How is that a safe and secure marketplace?  It's not.. it's beyond terrible.  It's easy to get drawn to selling on eBay because of the amount of traffic they get, but it is VERY high risk and not a safe place to conduct business.  There are plenty of other places to sell online - stay away from eBay until the authorities step in and control these animals.

I have purchased over 13 loads from liquidation,com and the specific seller onlinereturns... I have never gotten any load that wasn't just as they described.. They list whether theya are returns, shelf pulls, or salvage. You do have to be careful and pay attention to what you are buying, also you have to pay attention to the pictures as well as the manifest.. and don't take  the manifest for what it is, do your research on the prices for whatever forum you are  going to sell on...

I have made a very nice income buying from onlinereturns as a matter of fact that is the only seller that I will buy from.. Don't get me wrong you will get merchandise that is non functionable, after all they are returns and they were returned for a reason... Which leads me to my last tip: never lie to your customers on any format you sell on make sure they know that they are open box items, don't sell them as new no matter how good they look, and check them over well...

Melissa defended onlineresturns, a seller on Liquidation.com, back in 2006.  I am here in 2013 to let you know that the first complaint made by "C." of Weatherford, TX is spot-on.  onlinereturns is a purveyor of absolute junk.  The retail prices are often inflated far higher than MSRP ever was for a particular item.  Worse, their descriptions of the items conditions are grossly innacurate.  I received a shipment from them where 24 of the 30 items were salvage, not "returns".  These 28 items were heavily used, with both cosmetic and functional damage, and had zero product packaing of any kind, just a salvage item slipped into a generic clear ziploc bag, and sold as a "return".  Here is my advice to you:

If you shop on Liqudation.com, do not buy anything from "onlinereturns".  If you shop on Liquidation.com, don't buy anything that isn't fully manifested, and even then, don't bid on any of it until you research each and every item on the manifest to find out both original MSRP as well as current trading valuation.  If you shop on Liquidation.com, don't buy anything from any seller where they only have one or two small, distant, or otherwise indistinct photographs.  Just about everyone these days has a high megapixel camera in their pocket on their smartphone, storage space is cheap, and Internet bandwidth is fast.  If a seller is not providing ample high-resoltion photographs honestly and accurately representing the contents, then there is a chance they are trying to sell you garbage on the sneak.  If Liquidation.com has the merchandise and they are fulfilling the auction, then I absolutely hole them as liable as the seller for not validating the seller's listing and also missing the opportunity to provide additional detailed photographs.

If you read all that and it sounds like a lot of buyer beware, it is.  Because what you see is what you get, and what you don't see if often times worth little to nothing.

I have purchased many items from Liquidation.com and have found onlinereturns to be a very valuable resource. Of course, with any purchase a certain degree of discretion is necessary.

I have to say, I have received some shipments from onlinereturns that are practically brand new and then there are others that have clearly been used. This, however, comes with the territory when purchasing merchandise such as this from an internet based auction site.

With that being said, to avoid such mishaps in the future I would suggest dealing with sellers that have merchandise that has clear pictures and what is being sold. Also, it is advantageous to purchase only merchandise that is currently being held by Liquidation.com in one of their warehouses.

Now, their customer service is not the best - by far! If you are looking to pick up bulk orders in smaller quantities at a reduced cost, for the purposes of resale, my suggestion would be to buy directly from the manufacturer or from a reputable retailer such as eMazingAuction.com
