The anger that is raging inside of me after reading all these reports due to the last few days of my life here, in which has been nothing but hell, after realizing that Paradigm sent me a garbage computer that not only had a scratched monitor out of the box, but is NOT worth the computer that i for one chose, and it surely does not represent their 2400 pricetag.

I can not believe i fell for such an act. Ive built computers for 15 years for myself and last year decided to just take the easy way out and finance a computer. I figured gateway is reputable, for the most part...i always knew gateways PCs are not something to die for, but i felt the company was at least honest enough to work fairly with people. So i did not think twice about the Paradigm company that said they would finance for me.

They never said that i was "not" with gateway in doing this. They never explained ANYTHING about a so called upgraded computer. They as many have said, presented this deal as one of gateways best computers all for that little 34 dollars a month, well after i spent 400 to get the computer sent to me.

Which adds up now. You all realize that our littl 400 dollar deposit is what they use to pay gateway for a piece of absolute crap...once they have that money, thats why they will send it...it has nothing to do with anything other than that 400 bucks pays for the garbage in which we recieve and are falsely advertised too.

Ive noticed this computer can barely multitask, so i got curious and started to check its parts...yea, probably the biggest pile of crap intel core 2 duo processor you can find, and it all started to click.

Not to mention though, i already have a report in to gateway from 6 days after i recieved this computer to return things... i was waiting for the packing slip, it never came and time passed a bit.

I could not believe my eyes when i read the other reports on Andrea Morris and her practices, you all nailed it to the TEE...i mean literally everything ive read on these reports ive been dealing with. The rude behavior, the threats, everything...because Andrea didnt like that i was on to their little scheme when i called to ask her how much this computer was from gateway, and she got VERY rude, very defensive and was kind of at a loss for words, covering it soley with "sir you read the contract"...bs that she likes to spew.

I told her i would stop payments and she says she will see me in court...you all have no idea how furious i am right now in reading that this is basically their run of the mill routine.

Because i for 2 days straight was getting passed back and forth from gateway to paradigm with both saying "you have to call gateway"..."you have to call paradigm"...gateway telling me that they handle all returns, and Andrea said to me to get a gateway customer rep to tell her that...so i go and get a rep that will call in 3 way, and after all that time i called paradigm and what do i get "andrea is on a conference call"...close enough, i feel kind of left out that i didnt get the "shes in a meeting right now".

And to READ this, and read the other complaints about this is mindblowing...literally, i am almost in shock to realize how badly ive been screwed over by gateway and this pos company.

And whats sad is ive sunk 600 bucks into this computer already and still owe 1800 bucks, on a computer that does not even match up to gateways 400 dollar model...and not only that, gateway told me its a discontinued model.

But it all makes sense now, its not discontinued, it never exsisted...its a pos they must throw together for paradigms 300 or 400 bucks so that they can mark it up to their 2400 dollar package, and then tell me its top of the line.

The guy told me that i could halt payments or cancel at anytime...lied to me, simply outright lied to me and all along i just felt like a fool.

And now after reading all this...i just am blown away. I honestly dont think ive ever been more mad in my life over something, at the cold hearted business practices that these people so proudly partake in. That they know deep down they are royally screwing people over, and gateway knows it.

Please if any of you made headway or want to try and do something here, please contact me...because im ready to explode in anger, SOMETHING needs to be done about this horrendous company.

Excuse me Christa? You're so very wrong...

AUTHOR: Ben - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 25, 2007

Not broken? Oh...call Gateway and youll see my call that was made one day after i recieved that pile of crap you call a computer. The system was not only "wrong" for what was in the contract, but the monitor was damaged and it barely ran...

Gateway has it documented, infact i spoke with a Wendy someone from the Gateway Corp. in which i also have her direct number if youd like it, so that you can very well see that I called in to cancel/fix this issue on November the 8th 2006.

Everything else I wrote was just icing on the cake my little friends. You people are no different than Blue Hippo company and honestly, when you are making the kind of money im sure youre making ripping people off, im sure its easy to convince your conscience that "its right".

And for the record, the ball is in Andrea's court...the last time I spoke with her i asked to fax over the contract so that i can show my lawyer that I recieved a "different" computer than the one I was contracted too.

That incase you dont know, is a breach of contract.

So not only was your system you sent me broken, wrong, 2,000 dollars less than what it was worth, it wasnt even the computer that was LISTED ON THE CONTRACT.

I have my Paradigm Contract, I have the computer right here...two seperate computer specs and a broken computer...if you can honestly sit there with your self and believe I should have to pay for this then you need some serious help.

You told us the pc was broken

AUTHOR: Christa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 30, 2007

I am laughing at your complaint sir. You actually stayed that you would not pay for the system because it was broken. Yet you never called anyone to complain when you received the systemt but waited till someone called you called for payment in March? Instead you owe a huge bill which is now at collections.

You signed a legal binding contract and the desktop you received is the one Gateway sells. You come on here & tell a lie as to why you will not pay. Shameful!

Advice. Pay off the computer its the lawful thing to do.

Its not even that matter of it being a good PC or not, they misrepresented themselves

AUTHOR: Ben - (U.S.A.)

And sure it may be a great deal, a great deal for someone that is not technically gifted in the computer field. Anyone would tell you that a computer like the one i recieved and the computers other people recieve are "not" up to par in term of value.

That is not even my point. my point is that Gateway lets a person cancel accounts at any time, Paradigm ive learned doesnt.

I "thought" I was a customer of Gateway in all this. Paradigm presented themselves AS gateway, ive honestly never in my life seen some 3rd party company run around giving out another brand label to people and representing themselves AS the brand they are selling, never.

And besides that, Gateway had "NO" right to give out my information to Paradigm without my disclosure, i soley went to gateway and i think it was wrong for them to give out my info to a 3rd party company, they had no right.

Paradigm costly but not rip-off

AUTHOR: Portia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 23, 2007

I received my laptop from Gateway through Paradigm Acceptance. It was perfect, brand new out the box. I also received a notebook case and 30 software programs for my new laptop. Their computers even come with a one year warranty straight through Gateway. Yes, the computer costs more than if I were to buy it directly from Gateway but people were referred to Paradigm because they obviously couldn't get credit through Gateway and Paradigm was their alternative. If you ask me, I say it's a good program.
