Do not sign up First American Home Warranty or any of these Home Warranty Program, it is a scam and ripoff. Their contract stated that they will cover garbage disposal. But when you called for service, and technician will come out, can't fix it and tell you it need replacement, could be anything wrong with it. Then First American representative will automatic call you and claim the garbage disposal may have been old and rusted from inside, so they will not cover anything. WOWW....really so now you stuck with paying them $40/month + $70 service fee = $110 total and nothing is fixed or replaced, because they claim it could have been broken from rust. So my question is what the hell do they cover? Most garbage disposal become old and broke down, and rust. Maybe I should have painted my garbage disposal silver looks brand new. It seem to me they just scam $40 and make $70 for the technician, then pissed me off to cancel. Well they did a good job of doing that....God know how many others have suffer the same.
