I got the second notice from Pat Haines with a number to call(1-866-374-9975) and a sweepstakes I.D. #. When I called the number I was asked for my credit card information and told no purchase was neccessary and was switched to another fast talker.
I understood that I could get 4 magazines for 2 years for $69.95 and get two free watches and a free organizer in return. So i agreed to this but the following month they took another 69.95 out!
I called them to see why they had took out the money and was told that i agreed to $69.95 a month for the next five months! I argued with the guy about it and got nowhere. The puny lil magazine he sent me isnt worth 2 dollars!
I tried to cancel the magazines but he said i couldn't so i hung up on him! How can i stop him from getting the money that i support my family with?!! I would like to sue this guy if anyone thinks i stand a chance in winning against them.

she's sending letters from the grave?

According to Pat Haines' son, Randy (Randall) Romanow, she is deceased, so how is she sending out sweepstakes letters? You should email him and ask him : Randy@romanow.us or randyromanow@yahoo.com. Maybe he could give you your $ back, too.
#2 Consumer Suggestion
NEVER give your CC over the phone!!

If they do a recorded verification so you can prove what you agree to, ok MAYBE, but other than that, DON'T give your cc # out on the phone, and be very very VERY cautious of the internet!! Pat Haines' son Randy Romanow claims that she is dead, so they're sending letters out from a deceased woman apparently. That's just SICK!!

WOW that's almost $350. Call your credit card company and either block these guys or just cancel the card or get a new card with a new number. NME may threaton you with collection but NME hates negative publicity so they won't chase you very far. You do not have to put up with NME's crap.
They are an EVIL bunch.
Good luck.
