Pei Wei is out of control with the calories in their food. Do not be fooled!!! Their salads are close to 1000 calories...FOR A SALAD? Almost 600 calories FOR SPRING ROLLS. This is insane. Their food appears healthy but they load TONS OF SUGAR into any dressings.  IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR HEALTH-DO NOT EAT AT PEI WEI.

It is horrible that this restaurant, which has so many healthy looking dishes on its menu, is basically lying to its customer. It is unconscionable!!! Do not eat at Pei Wei. Make a statement about your food choices and choose restaurants that actually care about their customers' health. Until Pei Wei changes the way they prepare their food STAY AWAY FROM PEI WEI!!!!! Speak your mind and commit to your health, eat somewhere that does not overload it's sauces and dressings with sugar.

Pei Wei also will not listen to suggestions from it's employees. Many wonderful employees have suggested that Pei Wei consider other ingredients or have healthier choices. Yet PEI WEI ACTUALLY STATES THEY HAVE TO USE SUGAR IN THEIR FOOD BECAUSE ANYTHING ELSE WOULD BE A LIABILITY!!! Wait till someone has a heart attack from eating at Pei Wei, then there will be a liability.

Too Funny

Even better than the moron who compared CPS to the Nazis. I for one love Pei Wei and have no problem with making the Chicken Fried Rice into two meals when I am unable to cook.  Grow up and get a life - when you have a real complaint come back instead of your pathetic, poor me crap.

Opinions....

We all have them.. Mine is: This chain SUCKS!  I don't care how many calories/fat grams are contained within a meal, as long as the food is good. This place has the worst food and service ever.  I dine out quite often, in different states and countries (I do not currently live in the U.S., no Pei Weis in my corner of the world, thankfully), and this place will go down as THE WORST RESTAURANT MEAL I have ever had. It was bad. Really bad. A frozen .99 cent meal would have tasted better. Horrible service to boot. No thanks, no way, never again. That is all.

Sounds like you're one of those activist busybodys that believes others should follow YOUR beliefs...

"Their salads are close to 1000 calories...FOR A SALAD? Almost 600 calories FOR SPRING ROLLS"

If they're basically "Lying" to their customers, where did you find the caloric content for their foods?

Haul your liberal, uppity self off to the nearest "Occupy movement"...you're late for the protests.

What is the Ripoff?  Perhaps they could make the "dishes" look less healthy so as not to deceive.

Seriosuly this sounds like it is just out of the Disgruntled Employee playbook.

You see you really blew it when you started saying things like they don't listen to their employees....and the fact that you are calling this resturant the "Unhealthiest food on the planet".   The planet?  Really...I could name a dozen resturants that are a heck of a lot more unheathy overall just in the US.

But let's look at your claims..which ANYONE can do by searching for "Pei Wei Nutrition Information".

They do have Salads..but only ONE over 1000 calories.  Of course it is their Spicy Salad with Steak.  They do have several that are "close" to 1000 calories, but they also have a salad that is only 270 calories, and several in the 500-600 calorie range.

Then we get to their Spring Rolls, each Vegetable Spring Roll runs about 115 Calories..a far cry from your 600 calorie claim.  Even if you add in a full 2oz serving of their sauce you are only adding another 130-160 calories.  To get to your 600 Calorie Claim you would have to eat 4 Spring Rolls and a full serving of their sauce.

It is all about the CHOICES you make.

I do agree with you on one thing....

and commit to your health, eat somewhere that does not overload it's sauces and dressings with sugar.

- If your health is so important there is a wonderful place that you can eat at...it is called your HOME.  That way you can cook it exactly how you want and be as healthy as you want the food to be.
