I did see an "employment lawyer" and that's why ADF was so eager to shell out some bucks.

Even though he had a standard shift truck and I told him it would not work very well for going into neighborhoods and having to drive slow to look for house numbers, he did very well with them until the price of gass got too high when he had to quite BUT THAT WAS NO FAULT OF PIZZA HUT!

IF HE HAD HAD BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD A MUCH SMALLER FUEL-EFFICIENT CAR, HE WOULD HAVE DONE ALRIGHT! he got incentivs for being safe and always getting the pizzas there on time, nice and hot.

WE GOT TO EAT WHAT WAS LEFT OVER AND THE MANAGER knew how to run a good operation.

I currently work for adf companies, at a store, who's location I will not reveal at this time. I really wanted to do most if not all of this anonymously because I am already in fear of losing my job.

One thing I will say about ADF, ,PRESTON ARWINE, and The lot is that they are remarkable at keeping people afraid to fight down. I know someone who has been with this company for a very long time. This person has worked their rear end off, to try and make the company happy. I mean literally this person has stayed over 24 hours straight in the store just to make it clean and presentable to the company owners who care more about their cleanliness inspections than they do anything else.

There are many things that I could say about the company and their lack of care for their employees, but that was not the point of my response.

I applaud you Aaron for taking a stand against the company. For taking a stand against a group of people who care much more about the dollar signs in their paychecks than they do the people putting them there. Again I reference my friend mentioned above who has worked for the company for so long. This person now runs a store, and if you were to see it, you would see it is the store the company forgot. This is truth not just plain conjecture. ADF companies are racists. The Pizza Hut in question was a cesspool of drug runners and addicts, and laiden with vermin when my friend took it over. After many years of working with it, my friend has finally began to see the light of day with sales going up, and even employees being recognized by "Preston Arwine" himself.

Still the store my friend manages is forgotten by the company. The make table is old, and decrepit, falling apart every time someone closes the lid in -not the exact correct manner- The employees though treated well by their RGM, are berated and not just let, but held down by their Area Coach Elaine Lyons. Who actively prevents the promotion of employees. Citing one small hiccup or another as a reason to prevent someone who has worked for their company for over five years a promotion based on the idealic principal the he is a black man. ( conjecture there) They continue to push their employees to do the "right thing" but that is blown to hell the first time " the right thing" interferes with money in their pockets.

It truly does all come down to money with ADF companies. A report came to me very recently that a driver was fired from his job because his insurance had lapsed, and he was still driving. We can't always afford to make payments on our insurance and if something like that is a requirement, couldn't adf, find a simple means of providing a low cost insurance to their drivers. Something that could be taken out of their pay checks( something of course that only covered them while at work.. We had something like that for Football when I played for my home town team)

These lying.. Fillanderers have mistreated far to many people to count, and have gotten away with it for far too long. I was glad to read that Aaron was compensated for his time, and while he may not write bad things about ADF Pizza hut. So long as they continue to treat their employees like trash. I believe the world should know.

I want each of you to take a test for me. Walk into any Pizza Hut in Knoxville besides the Asheville Highway one. ( Do this several times) take pictures of the employees there. You will see them wearing fancy new uniforms. Little black numbers that look quite comfortable and groovy.. Then walk into the Asheville High way store and look at the dregs these people are forced to wear. That same old red and black cotton thing that itches, and stains, and never fits propperly.

Ask the employees there why they are wearing those uniforms, and the answer will surprise you, or rather would have had you not read this. They are the only store in the company that has not been given the new company uniforms. They are the only store in the company that is not aided in some way by the things that the other stores in the company are aided.

When the Broadway ADF pizza hut closed down It's delivery area was dispersed amidsts the stores closest to it.. All but one of them that is.. Powell got a rather large delivery area.. Millertown pike. ( quite possibly the nastiest store in the bunch) got most of the broadway delivery area.. And one other store I can not quite remember got the rest of it. Who didn't get any of it? The only store that was less than ten minutes drive from the Broadway Pizza Hut. Asheville Highway. It, and it's crew, who I will say are all quite competant at what they do, and have been trained well by their manager. Are the store and crew, that ADF Companies, Elaine Lyons, and Preston Arwine ( who is now in a position much higher than that of an area coach) have forgotten.

I don't know who in that store will be the next to go. It will probably be a delivery driver, I know there is one there that really gets Elaine's bodice in a buckle because he is not afraid to speak his mind. He'll remain nameless too, but it wouldn't surprise me if Elaine, or Preston who have no sense of loyalty to the people who work under them do not fire him before the end of the week. They might even think I am him if they read this.. I'll laugh if they ever find out I am not.

Down with ADF.. They truly do treat all of their employees.. Even the ones who really like their job and want to be with that sack of crap company until retirement.. Like crap.

As far as the situation I'm in, I'm now employed with a locally-owned media company. I am the Lead Installation Manager for LED based information boards such as the jumbo-trons that you see in sports stadiums and on billboards while you're driving down the interstate. I'm talking anywhere from $30k to $250k pieces of equipment. I'm using my degree and am completely happy. Who's this guy who says he's surprised that I won? I was RIGHT. People who are RIGHT win in court. It's not brain surgery. Judges have to go by the letter of the law. It's the DA's office (Mike Flynn) that is the downfall of the Blount County (IN)Justice system and the ones who trampled my CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

I wasn't looking for a carreer with Pizza Hut, just part time employment on the weekends to make some extra money. Get your facts straight. There's lots of college graduates delivering pizza nowadays. This is TN, not anywhere else. Different regions have different industry. Do you not know that?

Also, I was not made aware of the house being a crackhouse even though ADF knew. How would you know? I assume that most crackhouses don't have a neon sign stating what goes on inside; maybe where you're at but not here. You need to learn to read more carefully.

Interesting reading this 'story'. I am happy you ended up actually getting something. America is no longer a country of law. The politicians are mostly law school graduates, where they 'learn' to lie 'correctly'. Thus, called 'prevarication' or misleading. Woe to you lawyers, said by someone who should know. Judges are perhaps not as corrupt as politicos, but they are down there. Actually, I am SURPRISED you won. The losers apparently are not in bed close enough to our owners. I would suggest that you need to make a hasty exit next time, to avoid this common crap. Find employers with integrity, and honesty. Maybe your old friend who said he'd have hired you. I am struck by two things in this; 1) That you stopped at a crack house to get directions because you had delivered there at some point in the past, and 2) your not giving up on your town or state is misplaced if you are looking for a career. If you are college educated and the only job you can get where you are living is a driver for pizza hut, a company that you already knew wasn't high on employee morale, then you kind of get the situation you are in now.

I'm going to say that I was forced into signing an agreement with ADF. The sum of money they paid me (less than $20,000) was enough to keep me quiet I suppose.

I still think all the people there are low lying toilet scum. Oh yea, the Hannum street store is now engaging in the possession and sale of child porn. Preston and Matt are in on this, selling videos and pictures. It's only a matter of time before they get caught.

Apparently Matt's friend has a younger sister who he likes to fondle. She's well under the age of 14 years of age.

Aaron got everything that he wanted from ADF. They buckled under the pressure of a lawsuit after the case was over.

Aaron had to sign a confidentiality form stating that he owuld no longer "blog" bad comments about ADF. I didn't.

ADF is a horrible franchise to work for. They really tried to screw Aaron, but in the process ended up only screwing themselves. At the very least, this situation made the top brass look like a bunch of sniveling school girls.

After finding out that my attorney hadn't contacted ADF in several weeks, he was informed that his services were no longer needed. I don't blame him for not wanting to fool with any bone-heads at ADF, then again, he is a lawyer.....and how much lower can you go?

I contacted Mike Ryan personally to let ADF know that their terms for me being able to recieve my backpay were acceptable. That was 3 weeks ago. They (ADF, Mike Ryan) are still pulling the same old smoke and mirrors "feet dragging."

Mr.Ryan (ADF HR Punk), assured me that my check would be here by today. I recorded our last telephone conversation so that I want would a record of the agreement just in case ADF tries to back out of the deal. I want to remind ADF that in the state of TN, A VERBAL COMMITTMENT IS A CONTRACT. There's no if's, and's or but's about it.

I just wanted to make it clear that I was trying to put this situation behind me and I would hope that ADF would want to do the same. I was a complete gentleman and was very open to hear ADF's side of the story which was mostly denials and lies. I've become used to that type of behavior from ADF(a company of American Huts, Inc.,which is a franchise of Pizza Hut and Yum, Inc.)

I don't know what else to do except get another attorney and start calling in bogus orders to the 4 ADF Pizza Huts in Blount County. I also now have a list of some of the more important people with Yum, Inc. and some of ADF's silent investors.

If they wanted trouble, now they have it!

Once again, all that ADF has to do at this point is to uphold their end of the deal. I now have their promises in writing. They still have a chance at getting this RIGHT. I heard from my attorney today. He said that ADF American Huts has made an offer but wouldn't expound on what the offer was. He wanted me to read it for myself.

My expectations are very low of ADF American Huts so I'm probably going to have to sue them. I'm more than prepared with various audio tapes of Preston's promises not only speaking to me but other employees at Pizza Hut. I've also got all my paperwork concerning my tips. It generally ran about 4% of the total pizza deliveries. When you're dealing with $1000.00 or so dollars worth of pizza in a 9-10hr shift, that's a pretty good chunk of money.

I can't wait to see what the buck-passers at ADF American Huts and their risk management people have offered. I'm sure it's not what they owe.

My lawyer did get a letter from ADF American Huts staying that they had been put in charge of handling this situation of PROMISED back pay.

We always have the option of suing Mr. Arnwine in person for breach of contract. A promise is a promise in this state and we have legislation to prove it.

This is twice that ADF and American Huts has passed the responsibility to someone else. Such is the way of the Yankee Coward.

It has been 3 weeks to the day of being found NOT GUILTY and ADF Pizza Hut still hasn't contacted me concerning my promised and contracted back pay.

What ADF doesn't realize is that the clock is still running. The longer they wait to pay me, the more money it will cost them.

I heard the other day that the security door at the Hannum St. store is broken and for all practical purposes isn't functioning as correctly. Anybody could just come in the door.

This door problem is just one more instance of ADF Pizza hut not giving a s**t about the safety of its employees. They, ADF (The Company),have a track record of placing the lives of their employees in danger like this. Good Job, Dumbasses!

I was expecting this kind of behavior from ADF. As far as I know, my attorney has sent them a letter but we haven't recieved a response. That's to be expected when dealing with underhanded companies like ADF and Pizza Hut.

At this point I've adopted the strategy that "You can pay me now or you can pay me twice as much later."

I feel as though I need to set the record straight concerning Judge Thomas. I had him pegged wrong.

Although he is a liberal democrat who believes in bullshit causes like banning the Rebel flag, when he is in the bench, he puts all that liberalism aside. He's definitely got my vote from here until hell freezes over.

Judge Kelly Thomas is the definition of "good government." At one point, even he was chuckling concerning Little Bobby Headrick's behavior.

Too bad that all liberals can't be like Kelly Thomas. I made it a point to tell him how much I appreciated his "non-partisan" attitude when he was on the bench.

Several days later, I saw little bobby headrick in the Justice Center and spoke to him. Needless to say he didn't speak back. What a twinkle-toed horse's a*s!

I found some stuff out about some of the other people working for the Mike Flynn Gestapo yesterday that was absolutley astounding: drug abuse and bribery. Once again, something that is to be expected from such a chicken-s**t organization.

I forgot to tell you that Matt Taylor once again made a complete fool of his self. He came to court looking like a homeless person. The court baliff really gave him a dirty look concerning his appearence. Such is the way of the drug addict. The worst part of it was the he was representing ADF Pizza Hut's example of an employee. The jury deliberated for a grand total of 32 mins before rendering their verdict.

The prosecuting attorney, Robert Headrick, made a complete and total jackass of himself. He's a pansy-assed b***h anyways and most people in this county think he is "light in the loafers."

I made him look like the chickenshit fascist that he is. He really lost his cool. How bad of a lawyer do you have to be to work for the government and not yourself, anyways?

I have been in contact with his boss Mike Flynn about his intolerable actions in court yesterday. I'll let you know what happens. If I can get ahold of the court transcripts, I will submit to the ripoffreport so that you can see me at work putting underhanded prosecuters in their place.

At any rate, I will say this. Preston Arnwine attended the court proceedings, as he should have, and was a complete and total gentlemen. The only problem with Preston is that he answers to a bunch of horsehit yankees in New Jersey(ADF, the company.) I've often said that money is the by-product of compromise, not success. If you are willing to buy into ADF's communistic philosophy then so be it. I just want to leave this world with my soul intact(SP?), not thoroughly chewed by underhandedness.

Once again my case has been re-scheduled to Jan. 25, 2006. That makes a grand total of 8 times that I've had a court date and the DA's office were too chicken s**t to try the case.

When I was given the last court date (Jan. 17), I was told that my case took precedence and would happen on this date. Obviously, Judge Kelly Thomas is also a liar just like Robert Headrick in the DA's office.

This is a voting year and I plan on making it a point to keep Tom Hatcher and Kelly Thomas from getting elected.

You need to look deeper into the relationship between Robert Headrick (DA) and Kevin Sheperd (your attorney).

I'm sure that if you talked to some of the women who used to work for Kevin, they can tell you all about his escapades in his office. They all quit because of Kevin's homosexual relationship with a man in his office. That's real professional! You probably didn't know that Kevin swings both ways did you?

From what I hear through the grapevine, Kevin and Robert have a thing going behind the scenes and Robert is married also with kids. If you could prove some sort of illicit affair between the two, I'm sure that Judge Thomas would throw the case out due to "conflict of interest." But in this case, it would be "conflict of queers."

I finally got a court date on Jan. 17 of next year. That's twenty-one months past the time that I recieved my criminal summons. The only thing happening with my situation is that lawyers are making money.

I realize that I am not from TN nor am I familiar with how TN courts handled criminal cases, but this seems like common sense to me.

The alleged acts occurred over a year ago. The DA has been stalling bringing this before a judge and jury. I've seen motions to dismiss granted in cases like this.

Do yourself a favor and find out why your attorney hasn't filed a motion. This is beyond nuts. Does TN have time standards for court cases? If you don't know what that means, ask your attorney. He/she should know.

Once again my court date has been cancelled. Just more BS from a the Blount County District Attorney's office.

I found your story while looking for a site in Google where I could file a complaint on behalf of my son. His last two paychecks by the company for which he delivers pizza bounced.

I am sorry to hear of your problems with Pizza Hut, Ameri Huts, district attorney's office and poor management at the same.

I read diligently all the responses and was most impressed with your keeping the respondents focused on the issue and away from meaningless character assasinations of people involved.

To you I say, tear them a new a-hole in November. In the meantime, I am divesting myself of the TriConGlobal (YUM) stock which I hold. I look forward to your updates in November on the outcome of your trial.

After my hour and a half of reading all the posts under this item, I can only say one thing: THANK GOD FOR FROZEN PIZZA!

Finally, I got a trial date for November 5, 2005. Isn't that great? Seeing as how this supposed crime happened on April 24, 2004, I'd say the DA's office is afraid to prosecute this case. I knew they were cowards, I just didn't realize they could drag something out like this. Ive asked the question before and I'll ask it again: Isn't everyone entitled to a speedy trial? I guess all of us VOTING citizens will have to remember that when voting. Basically what's happening is that they are trying to wait me out. They think I will eventually give in and give these trashy HOME AVENUERS some money. NOT! In the process, this waiting game has seriously hurt the credibility of the offices of Tom Hatcher and Mike Flynn.

Oh well...no big deal...except for ADF who I'm probably going to go ahead and sue. They make you sign a form saying that you will enter into MODERATION with them before you sue them. According to the courts, that's just another bogus piece of paper that means nothing in a court of law. Anyways, I've done about all the MODERATING that I'm going to do with Preston Arnslime. I feel as though ADF and Preston has had plenty of time to rectify the situation. I still have yet to have a conversation with anybody from ADF. But, then again, that's the way they work: COWARDLY.

You probably won't hear too much from me for awhile concerning this thread. I'll check back from time to time and see if there's any new rebuttals. Otherwise, see you sometime around the 5th of November.

My Feb. 7 court date was postponed to Feb. 14. We entered a plea of not guilty at this hearing. Turns out that this was actually an arraingment, whatever the hell that is. I'm still waiting to hear something back from my lawyer about a court date.

At this point, I really don't care how long it takes. The more time it takes to get this case into court, the more money ADF will owe me for not allowing me to work. Currently, ADF owes me for 42 weeks back pay. My attorney informed me that it could take an additional two months to actually go to court. Theoretically speaking, ADF could wind up owing me for over a year's pay. Good.

You guys at ADF really screwed this one up didn't you? It's bad enough that you illegally suspended me without pay, but then you had to go and try to get me to sign something saying that I had done something wrong. You shouldn't have given me a copy of this bogus form. Good job, Preston.

Where's all the folks who work for ADF who have called me on the phone? I must have spoken to 20 of you who work for the same area supervisor. How come none of you have filed your own ripoff reports? As long as ya'll cow down to Preston, nothing will ever be resolved concerning the deplorable working conditions at ADF Pizza Huts in East Tennessee.

This is the Volunteer State, you know where people are supposed to have a little bit of backbone and are not affraid to fight for what is right. If you want to be cowards, then so be it. Think about it!

Pizza Hut, whether it is a franchise or company store, has operted in this manner for a long time now. I am originally from Knoxville and worked at one of the ADF Pizza Huts while going to school.

Aaron, this isn't the first time Pizza Hut and Preston Arnwine has acted in such a manner. This is, however, the first time someone like yourself has stood up to them and acquired a lawyer. Kudos for you my friend!

When this is all over with, regardless of the outcome of your criminal case, you should sue Pizza Hut and Preston Arnwine. The inappropriate behavior by Bethany is something that Preston can't weasel out of. Too many people would be willing to testify against her. You should sue Pizza Hut for sexual harassment. If she touched you in any way, whether it be petting or not, you have a case. Especially since this has been brought to Preston's attention on several occassions. I would sue Preston regardless.

Since this incident happened at work while you were on the clock, Pizza Hut is screwing you making you pay the lawyer fees instead of them. They are responsible for the cost of your lawyer, not anyone else. ADF should have offered to pay for your lawyer. They should have at least provided you with a lawyer from their corporate offices.

I really hate that this has happened to another part time delivery person. I'm just glad that it happened to someone who has backbone. Aaron, you teach them a lesson! SUE! SUE! SUE!!!!!!!!!!

I used to work at Pizza hut for Preston. I don't anymore. I got tired of seeing company policies violated by people who did favors for Preston. If you were a girl, and did favors for Preston, you could do anything you wanted. Sounds like this Bethany person has got down on her knees for Preston a few times. This isn not the first time this has happened on Preston Arnswine's watch. He is notorious for this. The only thing ADF understands is when they are getting ready to get sued. Money is the bottom line for them. Employee safety and sexual harassment aren't things that ADF and Preston Arnswine care about.

If anyone out there ever has a problem with ADF, the best thing to do is spend the money and get a lawyer. ADF is banking on the fact that you won't hire a lawyer to see that your rights as a working person aren't being violated. They don't think that you will sue them. Sounds like their whole demeanor changes when you get a lawyer.

Arron, I am anxious to see what happens with your situation. I heard about this thread from friends of mine who work at a Pizza Hut. You have a lot of employees at ADF on your side. They really want to see you get your pay. Since you haven't been fired by Preston, are you considered still an employee? If so, then you are entitled to unemployment compensation. You should have your lawyer call Preston and bring that issue to his attention. Preston knows. You should too. This is just another case of Preston and ADF trying to get away with something.

Although I do not work for Jeff Clark, I am still an employee with the ADF chain. Preston Arnwine is our supervisor. I work in a different store than Jeff Clark. I have been with PH for some time now.

This report has really upset ADF and corporate Pizza Hut. It is just a matter of time before YUM gets involved.

I also know Matt Taylor. He is a drug addict. After he was fired from Pizza Hut he got a job at Dominoes in your area from what I hear. Dominos probably doesn't realize what kind of a person they have hired. It's one of the Dominos in Maryville. Everyone should be weary of ordering pizza from whichever place has hired Matt.

I really enjoy hearing about Preston and ADF being afraid. They're also scared that the Bethany chick at your store is going to get them sued for fondling everybody. There was some corporate people who questioned us about her. They are really scared.

I just heard from some of my sources at Hannum St., that Matt Taylor was fired. He evidentally had more car problems while at work which caused him to go into some kind of psychotic fit where he started head-butting his car and tearing stuff up inside Pizza Hut. Well, at least he didn't threaten to kill anybody like he has done so many times before. Matt's situation concerning his behavior which led to his firing will help me in court tremendously. Does the DA not know what kind of a nut they are calling as their star witness?

I can't wait until he is on the witness stand. I'm relatively confident that he will do something ignorant. He may even have a fit like he did last time in court. You would think that the DA would have more sense than to call this idiot Matt Taylor as a witness.

What's really gonna be entertaining is when he is charged with PERJURY after the Feb. 7 court date. A conviction of one of ADF Pizza Hut's employees should make a subsequent lawsuit a sure win if they don't handle things correctly.

The cassettes which were given to me by a co worker had some valuable information on them. I listend to them and then burned them. These tapes aren't admissible(SP?) in court unless the actual person doing the recording is involved in the conversation. That means you need to be careful who you talk to Jeff and Preston. The only conspiracy happening here is within your company.

I also got a call from one of the former employees who is Mexican. You all know who I'm talking about. He has hired an attorney and is currently trying to file a descrimination lawsuit against ADF. I was terminated after 3 days.This all happened by the same Area Coach as you.I agree about how policies only work if you are certain people and I have the proof to back it up.I was salaried and worked the 1st day of the work week in-store.

When given my term form it said I was already terminated to them on the day of suspension?Why did I have to meet answer the phone and deal with all the hurt involved if I was already termed?I was never told that I would not be paid for this time nor was I told that I was terminated until 3 days later.Then I was told that I was to receive 1 weeks pay?No way because I worked 1 day and can prove that I met to save my job over 2 days.

In the policy manual I had the chance to get a hold of after termination it states that suspension is supposed to be a 24 hr period,the one I was fired out of also states that under VACATION TIME I believe you are owed all accrued (earned) vacations.I could be wrong BUT -hey I urge everyone to take a look. Co-worker #9, I would never agree with someone who spits in the sauce. As I've stated before, I've seen a few things happen, but have never done anything like this myself. I just don't think it's right although alot of the people we delivered to deserved it.

Word has really gotten around town about the Hannum St. location. While running around town, I run into alot of people I know. Quite a few of them have asked me about this thread and what is going on concerning my case. I just tell them that Papa Johns has the best pizza delivery anyways and if they want the best pizza in Blount County to go to Alexandro's. Nobody has Alexandro's beat.

I knew about Susie's accident and have visited her a couple of times. I'm sure it has put a real burden on people at Hannum St. since nobody worked as hard as Susie. I heard they put Shannon in Susie's place with the dough but she couldn't handle it. That figures. That's what happens when you hire a nut to do real work. Of course, NUTS are the kind of people Preston and Jeff like to hire. They like the drama.

As for "spitting in the sauce", that's just something I wouldn't do. It's bad enough.

I agree with you Patrick, that is terrible. The only problem with your solution is that Jeff Clark posts the health inspection on a wall where the customers can't see it. In the year that I have worked there, I've only seen the health inspector come 1 time. In the state of TN you are required by law to post the health inspection sheet in an area that is clearly visible to the customers. This situation is just one more instance where ADF Pizza Huts are in clear violation.

Maybe if people see the last post, then they will stop ordering pizza from our store which in a way would be good. Then again, I would feel sorry for the handful of good people that I deliver to. Actually ADF could care less what goes out the door on their product. Just look at the situation involving Matt Taylor and you'll see what I mean. As long as ADF's profits are up, they wouldn't care if we crapped on the pizza. Of course when Matt delivers you a pizza it's just about the same as a pizza that has been crapped on. He is truly disgusting and so is ADF.

Another thing, every time the health inspector comes, Jeff Clark knows well in advance of his arrival. Then we have to clean like mad for two or three days just like when he hears about corporate people coming. Corporate ADF and the health inspector just can't get a true sense of how nasty our store is most of the time. Most of this nastiness is due to Jeff Clark's and Preston Arnwine's laziness.

He's got a few things up his sleeve concerning Matt Taylor, Jeff Clark and Preston Arnwine. I can't wait until these three are all brought to justice. ADF just doesn't realize what they are in for.

First, let me start by saying that I FULLY SUPPORT Aaron in his fight against ADF Pizza Hut on Hannum St. I look forward to seeing what happens at your next court date in February. I hope you stick it to them in a big way.

I wish to address the last post by Co Worker #3. I know that this PH and ADF are very bad, but stating that you will be spitting in the sauce is just downright disgusting. Not to mention a health hazard as well. Just think of all those poor people who have no clue what's going on at this store. Do you really want to go to such lengths?

Instead, try to find things about the store's cleanliness to post to help discourage people from eating there. I'm sure that the poor state of management at this store has to have contributed to some nasty Health Inspections. Let's hear about those instead.

It really surprises me that someone from ADF hasn't answered some of these charges launched against them on this thread. You would think that if they cared about their reputation, they would. I guess we all should remember what kind of organization we are dealing with.

ADF has never cared about their reputation in the community. The bottom line is money. Money, money, money. Employee safety, quality of the product and fair treatment have always taken a back seat to money. ADF will never comment on this thread because they know all these accusations are true. Either that or Jeff and Preston are lying to them.

I started keeping a log book of Jeffs hours he works. We'll see if ADF cares when they have a criminal case against one of their store managers for fraud. Lying about your hours is afterall considered theft.

And, if Preston and Bethany don't stop screwing around, I'm going to call Preston's wife and see if she knows what is going on.

If either of these two guys had any honor, none of this stuff would have happened including the deal with Aaron. By not having any morals, Preston and Jeff have opened up a whole can worms. Now they have to deal with it!

I informed the city commission and chief of police what I have read on this site concerning Pizza Hut on Hannum St.

At the very least, this store must be poorly managed. Not only do they let drug trafficking go on in their store, they treat honest employees very badly.

The last time I ate at a Pizza Hut, I swore I would never eat there again because it was so greasy. Now I see that not only their food is bad but so is their management and corporate people.

The thing that really concerns me is that no one from ADF has come on here to post any type of rebuttal against the complaints of their employees. This inactivity just makes me think that they have something to hide. I will never do business at any of the Pizza Hut locations in East Tennessee.

Aaron, Jeff Clark is actually the first person I heard come in talking about how you had said that everyone is on drugs at the Hannum St. store. We all know that you didn't say that on this site. Jeff was just trying to ruin your credibility concerning the comments you've made against his store and in the process destroyed his own credibility. This only made you look better.

In case you don't remember, Jeff Clark is also the person who said that Matt drove a black car when in fact it was green. He's also the person who lied to corporate about going and seeing Misty in the hospital when she was hurt. So as you can see, he has a track record of being a liar. You, Aaron, shouldn't act like Jeff Clark has nothing to do with this situation when in fact he does. More than you think.

Nobody would have known about this site if Jeff Clark hadn't come into work telling everyone about it and misquoting what you had said. He's going to have to buckle-down and do his job from now on and that's good. He should have conducted himself as a decent manager a long time ago and some dope like Matt coming in late everyday. At least you were able to bring some of the problems to light concerning ADF corporate offices. Now they know they better start handling their employees in a better manner. I still cant understand why they haven't fired Matt. He said something about having another job so mayber he's going to quit real soon. He's so dirty I'm afraid of cathing something from him.

Shannon is still deliverying and managing at the same time. Just like somebody said, this is against ADF's corporate policy. Matt is still coming in everyday strungout and customers are still calling and complaining about him. I can take 3 deliveries sometimes compared to his one. I should be paid more money. Jeff Clark still comes in late every so often but its not as frequent as what he used to. He still manipulates his hours on the computer in the back. I caught him doing just that last week.

Preston Arnwine still comes in everyday and sits on his rear in the back office doing absolutely nothing. When Bethany comes in, she usually goes back there and they shut the door. At least they've got the common decency to not mess around in the open anymore. Its still awful that they get away with this.

Susie was hurt real bad in a car accident, so Connie is having to work harder. Jeff nor Preston either one know how to do the dough so you can't expect those two idiots to do anything. I can't believe ADF think that these two are good employees. I guess they'll hire anybody.

I have an interview in two weeks with Denso. I'm hoping I get a job there so that I don't have to deal with Pizza Hut anymore. ADF is ver lousy company to work for. The customers we are forced to deal with are just like you said "very trashy" at times. I'm over it.

I think one of the other drivers down here has some stuff on tape concerning Preston and Jeff that you should hear. I don't know if you've talked to him/her yet, but its some stuff that really should help your case out when you sue Pizza Hut.

They are going to send Russ to manage the Townsend store. You'll have to tell all your family and everyone you know up there about what Pizza Hut has done and how nasty their food is. Its really not Russ's fault but given time I'm sure he'll start to act just like Jeff and Preston.

ADF is by far the worst organization to ever have a Pizza Hut franchise. I've been with this company a long time now and I don't know if I've ever seen such disregard for employee safety, especially the delivery personnel, since ADF bought us out. There's just some places that we should not be expected to go. There has to be a reason why Dominoes and Papa Johns don't go to these places but yet ADF Pizza Huts do. I guess it's because as long as ADF is making money, they don't care whether a driver gets robbed, shot or even killed. It's all about money to them and not safety.

I hope Aaron is able to win his case and then sue them for every penny that they are worth. ADF Pizza Huts deserve to be brought to justice.

Me and Aaron worked five 9hr shifts together several years ago at the Hannum St. Pizza Hut. During that time we worked under 4 different managers. All of which worth worthless. I guess that's why they ended up at Pizza Hut.

We were actually working there when Jeff Clark(the current RGM) first started as a delivery driver. He had a big red-neck camaro and a mullet. Who would have thought he would have ever became a manager. I guess the mullett is what impressed corporate pizza hut.

The manager that me and Aaron had at the time was named Tom. They called him TJ but I can't remember what his last name was. He was a drug addict also. There were times when he would come out of the bathroom with big white rocks stuck in the hairs in his nose from snorting cocaine. He treated me and Aaron like s***t. I actually quit before Aaron did. Sometimes Tom would let us drive his Honda Accord. Needless to say, we absolutely drove that car as hard as it would go. I'm surprised we didn't blow it up. He deserved it.

Before Tom came a long we had a manger named Richard who was nothing more than a drunk and a pillhead. He used to come into work so blasted sometimes that we would just sit him in the back and take care of everything ourselves. Me and Aaron could have just robbed Pizza Hut blind, and I probably would have but I know Aaron wouldn't want to be a part of anything like that. It wasn't in his nature to steal. Really, Pizza Hut owes Aaron a great debt of gratitude for babysitting the Managers when they would come in so stoned that they couldn't work.

Pizza Hut on Hannum St. was the place to get cocaine for awhile after we left. I think the Alcoa Police eventually started tapping the phone lines and I know that several of the drivers we used to work with were indicted on federal drug charges. Some actually ended up doing some hard prison time. We had no idea what was going on behind our backs while we worked there.

I just wanted to comment and let you know that Aaron IS a GOOD PERSON. I don't know if I have ever seen him do anything that would calll his charater into question and I have a hard time believeing that he did something wrong concerning this incident where these other people were obviously the aggressors. I do believe that Pizza Hut has treated Aaron in the wrong way. They never learn. I don't know if they actually know how to do the right thing.

Aaron, I hate that this incident at Pizza Hut has knocked you out of finding better employment where you could use your degree. I wish I had known what had happened to you before you started working back at Pizza HUt. I would have hired you immediately to help you pay your bills. I worked at Pizza Hut for 5 years. I was terminated for being late-just like all the other drivers. I was singled out and got the bomb. They tried to fight my unemployment but I WON! hahahaha. They fired two other tardy folks, but only because one was my son and the other his girl. My son told everyone in the place about how the managers changed his and the girl's times to reflect on-time. Had to shut the kid up!

In the 5 yrs I have worked at this corporate owned store, I have had sexual harassment (I filed report and was nearly fired myself in a retaliation "sting".) The HR broad "lost" the report until they were done dragging me through the bullcrap. She apologized. Still did nothing, the kid who harassed me go fired for calling a manager an a*****e. He told me to suck his you-know. Which is worse?

I have been set-up for years one way or another. Mystery calls to see how we are answering the phone, they lie about what you say. Makes ya scared to answer the phone. Then they hire ppl who can't speak english well enough to answer it...

We had a drug dealer who used the dining room after close to break down the stuff. We had a manager steal another employee's vehicle. The employee was arrested at work, left the truck. So they stole it rather than pay to have it towed to police impound.

We have drivers that reek of marijuana and admit freely that they smoke on the job! We have managers that screw waitresses on the cut table. Hungry? One kid got his girlfriend pg in the bathroom. One of our managers whipped his winkie out at one of the waitresses. She complained and ended up fired. I and another girl who knew about it got written up for saying yes we knew about it.

So, corporate, franchise, doesn't matter. Pizza Hut doesn't care about their employees. Pizza Hut is wicked and anything you can do to hurt them, more power to you. I will encourage everyone I know to stop eating there. Stupid Pizza Hut. Ex-employees are bad advertising. I will also encourage any who ask to not work there.

The company with which I was interviewing has decided not to hire me becuase of the information obtained on my background check. They said that normally they would go ahead and hire someone with a misdemeanor pending but an assult misdemeanor is deamed violent and they cannot assume that liability. I have informed my lawyer of this situation.

I spoke with a friend of the family who, from time to time, gets pizza from the Hannum St. location. She said that she normally just picks it up after reading about the situation concerning Matt.

She said that on Saturday, she went to pick up her pizza. Upon entering the parking lot, she noticed the extreme bump and the entrance. By "extreme dip", she meant to dip that you have to drive across that is situated between the street and the parking lot. This "extreme dip" has been that way for years even though the delivery personnel have brought it to Pizza Hut management's attention on more than one occasssion.

She said she got her pizza and went back to her car to leave. She went on to state that she had forgotten about the "extreme dip" and accidentally crossed it too fast. During this process, she bounced her face and head off the steering wheel which resulted in a busted lip. She immediately called me. She knew my situation and thought that this might be how the guy who followed me to Pizza Hut on Hannum St.

I've been saying all along that when the guy and his three buddies left the parking lot, they were going to fast. When his car hit the "extreme dip", I thought that he had blown his tire. I'm sure the collision with the "extreme dip" jostled these three idiots around in the car and could have possibly provided the fat lip that one of the bullies received.

Now, here's my point: Is it possible that by not fixing the "extreme dip", Pizza Hut was negligent? Could it be that if the "extreme dip" had been fixed to within reason, no one would have injuries that they could blame on me? Is it possible that if Pizza Hut had had the common decency to fix this obstacle, this situation might not have ocurred and I wouldn't be the target of a frivalous criminal case? I THINK SO AND SO DOES MY ATTORNEY.

I have taken some pictures of the "extreme dip" which will be used as evidence in my trial on Feb. 7. We also took some measurements of the "extreme dip". According to regulations of the city of Alcoa, something should have been done a long time ago about the Hannum St. parking lot. You would think that a strictly delivery & carry-out store would provide a decent entrance into their parking lot for delivery drivers and customers as well. Not at the ADF Pizza Hut on Hannum St. If need be, I will also use these pictures and measurements in any civil suit that may follow depending on ADF's and Preston's behavior.

One last thing: GOOD NEWS! A union involved with the teamsters is trying to organize a union for Resteraunt Employees which will include delivery drivers. There was article last week in the Maryville Times about this union. The reason the people are allowed to be a delivery driver and a manager is so that they can vote on the labor union issue. ADF is trying to load up the delivery personnel with managers to skew the vote when the time comes. TYPICAL.

I read an article on yahoo Sunday about this situation also. They actually mentioned ADF Pizza Huts as being one of the worst franchises to work for. FIGURES.

I heard Jeff say that they had plan concerning you. This ripoffreport has them worried.

The corporate guys from ADF are on Preston's back about the things which have been posted. They should have been watching him closer a long time ago. He has to lie to them everyday about his behavior.

I'm just worried that you won't see them coming. Make sure you look over your shoulder always. I know you can handle yourself but if you have to, shoot first and then ask the questions. Matt is not going to do anything, you know that. The ones to worry about are Preston and Jeff. I really don't think Jeff will do anything either. Last year during the winter the weather got bad. the roads started geting icy, but Bethany pressured us to work in conditions that were bad. we could have had wrecks and got hurt or hurt someone else. this wasn't right either. Are you sure that you are being completely honest with me about Preston's plan? I mean, how would he benefit from blaming me for damage to Matt's car? How would that help ADF? From what I hear about Matt's ride, I don't know how you would distinguish any damage from the fact that the car is simply a drug-addict driven piece of junk. I truly feel your best option is to report what you saw to the ADF corporate heads and then go from there. If Preston or Jeff tries to fire you or treat you unfairly, you then have a legitimate case for civil action. We have what are called "Whistle Blower" laws in the state of TN that protects folks like yourself. I'm sure that ADF knows all about this legislation.

Just try to do the right thing. Think about it. You have plenty of time and I know an attorney that would love to take your case if Preston or Jeff tries any form of intimidation against you. ADF, Jeff and Preston are already in enough trouble.

I'm in a predicament because of Preston. Even though I did nothing wrong, I'm torn between pleading guilty to these charges just to get this court case over. Then my accusers will have a free ride straight to ADF's pocket book. They can't sue me personally according to what my lawyer says and they owe me my back pay regardless of the outcome of my criminal case. I figure he knows more about civil matters than Preston or Jeff. If I just went ahead and pleaded guilty it would be a first time offense and I could get some kind of special treatment concerning my record. Neither charge is a felony, so if convicted I can still buy guns and go hunting which is all I real care about anyways.

I appreciate you telling me that Jeff is trying to cook up some false witnesses in this case. I never thought that he would do something like that but at this point, I wouldn't put him or Preston past anything. I will be sure and let my lawyer know what Jeff is trying to do. our service has been terrible lately by pizza hut. pizza hut is the only delivery we can get in this part of alcoa. the hannum st. pizza hut has always been pretty bad. they give us less toppings because we are black and they don't like delivering here. there manager there is bad. i have had some deliveries from the guy in the grren honda. he is a punk white boy. i hope aaron wins his case. he is nice. adf is terrible to do what they have done to him. we will never order from pizza hut on hannum street again. i would rather drive to papa john and pick it up. papa john is better pizza anyways. pizza hut is greazy and always makes us feel sick.

3) Being late every day and not working a full work week is ok as long as you are Jeff Clark and know how to manipulate the computer

4) Being a jerk and using a double standard when dealing with your employees is ok as long as you are Preston Arnwine

5) Delivering and training as a manager at the same time, which is against pizza huts policy, is ok as long as you are Shannon, even though there are many more people deserving of this bending of the rules

6) Treating your day-shift prep cooks like crap is ok as long as you are Jeff Clark

7) Over looking sexual harassment is ok as long as you are Jeff Clark and Preston Arnwine

8) Consistently violating state labor codes is ok as long as you are ADF

9) Having sex on Preston's desk is ok as long as you are Bethany and Mickey

10) You can always get even by carrying a box of hot wings out the back door once a week if you are me. Kiss my butt Jeff Clark! You deserve not getting as high of a bonus when you treat your employees like crap.

I found out today that Misty is not the one stirring up trouble. She has no reason to. She has nothing to gain by doing so. I don't think that I would recognize her walking down the street but I sincerely apologize for putting any stock in something that was obviously untrue about her.

I have been receiving e-mails from various sources who won't give their real names. Some of this information has been pretty accurate. Some of the information has been blatantly false. The one concerning Misty was false and I know that now.

As long as Pizza Hut can keep its employees at each others throats, it takes attention away from their corporate underhandedness.

I've also had a chance to consult with an investigator. He tells me that some of these e-mails have probably come from people like Jeff, Preston or Matt. Whether the e-mails came from them or not is really not important to me. What is important is that it stops now.

It has also come to my attention that Jeff Clark thinks that I have have filed all of these rebuttals myself. Jeff, if you think that I'm the only person whom Pizza Hut has done wrong, then you are sadly mistaken. You should quit being so paranoid about this situation and worry more about how you manage your store. I have no problem with you, but if you want one, then I will tell my attorney that you are spreading rumors that might affect my case. Well is that what you want?

Furthermore, Shannon, you do not dictate Pizza Hut Company Policy. Even though Preston wouldn't tell me about the telephone call concerning these people suing his company, I know now what was said. Shame on you Preston Arnwine. I informed my attorney of the little conversation you had with my accusers. Seems they were just wanting money and you told them to go ahead and prosecute me. While the issue has been brought up in past rebuttals, I know now that I AM fighting ADF's fight. You know that you should have provided me with an attorney, but you didn't. I don't have time to get involved in situations at Pizza Hut that have nothing to do with my fight. That's Preston's and Jeff's job. A lot of this deal could have been avoided if Preston had done the right thing to begin with but he didn't.

Preston has promised to give me my backpay when my case is dismissed. He better, with what I know now concerning his statements to my accusers.

I just wanted to let everybody know what I heard Matt say. He said that he could lie as good as anybody and when he got his money from the Lavoys he was going to buy a big rock. I'm assuming by "rock" he means either crack or cocaine.

I can't wait until this is over and Matt is sitting in jail where he should be. If I see him doing anything else at work involving drugs, I'm going to call the police and have him arrested. Why was he hired?

I have a friend with the MPD and informed him of Matt Taylor and what type of car he drives. I noticed on one of the other posts concerning the Hannum St. Pizza HUT, Matt is mentioned by an irrate customer. Matt gives the good drivers a bad name. He should be fired immediately. Preston just doesn't have any backbone until he is afraid that he will be sued by a dishonest customer. He has definitely done Aaron wrong.

What Matt doesn't realize is that his path will cross with Aaron's somewhere down the road again and he won't have the police or pizza hut to look out for him. Not that Aaron would just automatically jump him, that's not his way, but I'm sure Matt would start something and that Aaron would end it permanently by having Matt locked up.

Just think about the situation this way. If the police had done their job and got a drug-dealer like Matt off the streets this would have never happened. If Preston and Jeff would have done their job and fired Matt when he was threatening to kill everyone, this would have never happened either.

I just wanted to let you know that my intent was not to include ALL employees at Pizza Hut. If you will go back and read my comments, at no point do I say that ALL the employees there are bad people and drug addicts.

I just got off the phone with my attorney. My court date will be on February 7, 2005. I would say that this case will be dismissed by then.

Furthermore, I was informed that some of you disgruntled losers at Pizza Hut have been spoofing my e-mail address. Nice try. Now you are being monitored. Boy, Pizza Hut is going to be out of a chunk of money in order to pay the backpay that is owed by state law. This all could have been avoided by letting me work instead of trying to get me to sign something stating I had done something wrong after I had followed Pizza Hut's policy completely. I would like to say that I appreciate that you mentioned that there are good people who work at Hanuum St. I am there for a paycheck and not a popularity contest. I am thankful that I have a job. As far as your court problems, sorry that you are going through it, but I don't appreciate you putting in all of Hannum St. employees mixed in with it. You did do that when you mentioned all of the employess and not naming names. Everything had been blown out of proportion. Every job has its problems, and if you are lucky enough to find a job that you like, and you don't have any problems then you work for yourself. There are always people that you work with that you don't particular care for, if so then you stay the heck away from them. I've done it for six years,and tried to do my job to the best of my ability and mind my own business. I've had good bosses and LOTS of bad bosses. There are some I like more than others, but I do what is asked of me, and yes sometimes I complain. But all in all it's a pretty good job and I am thanked by a boss everyday I work before I leave, and that is all I have to say about that.

On a lighter not: I was offered a new job with a good company in Knoxville making good money. If this situation keeps me from going to work there, I'm going to immediately file suit against Pizza Hut. My case has been bound over. Looks like this is going to be a jury trial which is definitely to my advantage. A 12 person jury will get to decide if Matt Taylor's and Lavoy's story is credible. I will enter a plea of NOT GUILTY on Nov. 5, 2004 then we will get a court date.

The charges brought against me are assault and vandilism less than $500. Both are misdemeanors. Both are absurd. Both charges really should have been handled in general sessions court. But that's ok, I'll take a jury of my fellow Blount Countians.

I actually thought that at one point last week the charges were going to be dropped but I guess Mike Flynn's office has other plans. That's their perogative. We'll get to ask Mike Flynn why his office handled this in such a manner after the dismissal or not guilty verdict.

I called Congressman Duncan's office to inform him of this situation in my life. He informed me that he had no Federal Jurisdiction but that I should call the State Attorney General's Office just like some of the people said. I'm just wondering if I should call him now or after the case is dismissed? Does anyone know? I would appreciate your advice.

Pizza Hut did you a disservice by suspending you without pay. This can actually make you look bad in court. The term for what Pizza Hut has done is called DEFAMATION. Pizza Hut, Preston Arnwine and Amerihuts have hurt your case. This is shameful on their part.

Any charges or allegations made toward you should have been considered heresay from Pizza Hut's perspective. The franchisee is quickly gaining a reputation in East TN as being an extremely unfriendly place to work. The management at Amerihuts must be horrific to say the least.

No matter what happens with the outcome of you trial, you should sue Pizza Hut. They are definitely in the wrong.

I have a new court date on November 5, 2004. I don't have to be there because it is an arraignment, whatever the hell that means. Our District Attorney has saw fit to drag this out as long as possible. It's just a money thing plain and simple. Either way, I'm gonna be out a lot of money.

My lawyer told me today that if my case made it all the way to a jury trial then it would probably cost me another $1,000. That's a grand total of $1,700 to prove my innocence. I didn't know that you could rear-end someone, call your friends to come and bully the person you rear-ended, follow him to his work, make false accusations against him through our local district attorney, force his employer to suspend him, get one of his drug-addict coworkers to support your story, drag it out for a year and make $1,800 dollars. One last thing: If you want to make some money in Blount County, TN, all you have to do is accuse someone of something through Mike Flynn's office. It doesn't really matter whether you did something or not.

The best thing that Amerihuts could do right now is to give Aaron all his back pay and reimburse him for whatever his lawyer fees are at this point. Preston Arnwine does not realize what kind of hole he has dug concerning violations of state labor laws. Preston should have also questioned your local district attorney about the matter.

After all, when it's all said and done, Amerihuts will have to pay Aaron his backpay. Aaron should then sue Amerihuts for reimbursement of lawyer fees. The outcome of the trial really has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the responsibilty is Amerihuts to bear, not anyone elses. Aaron came to work that day in good faith that Preston's company would provide him with an environment free from risk. Preston didn't do that and neither did Amerihuts.

If you live in Maryville or Alcoa and decide to order pizza from Pizza Hut on Hannum St., beware if your delivery driver shows up in a green Honda Accord. If he then proceeds to climb out of his driver side window like the Duke boys then it is Matt. He has probably spent extra time bringing the order on his delivery so that he could do some drugs. Your pizza will probably arrive late because of this fact.

I am very surprised that Pizza Hut aka Amerihuts saw fit to handle this situation in such a manner. Being an attorney in Memphis, I find it hard to believe that the corporate lawyers at Pizza Hut thought that they could get away with suspending someone without pay. This practice is against state labor codes. Never the less, it sounds like they are stupid enough to see if they can get away with it. I represent people all the time who thought that they could skirt the state law. The excuse always seems to be that they thought that they could get away with or they thought no one would notice.

Aaron, I think I have enough information to try and contact you. Maybe I can be of some help bringing Pizza Hut to justice. They obviously think that you will not pursue them legally. I worked for a short period of time at the Hannum St. Pizza Hut while I was in between jobs. One person that hasn't been mentioned so far is a shift manager named Bethany. I personally saw Bethany sexual harass several of the drivers on a regular basis. The only one who enjoyed it was Mickey, a trailor trash individual who came here from Georgia. He and Bethany eventually had sex in Preston's office after hour one night. This is a direct violation of company policy.

I was standing behind Aaron one night while he was cashing out and Bethany told him that he could screw her if he wanted to. Aaron was repulsed and somewhat embarassed. He should have quit then and there and filed a suit against Pizza Hut. He's not the only driver she did this to. She's real w***e if you know what I mean. She's not much of a manager either. Several other employees have complained to Preston about Bethany but he never did anything. I guess if it was a customer then he would do something about it but probably not.

I currently work at the Pizza Hut on Hannum St. The person who falsely accused Aaron is a co-worker of mine. Matt Taylor is his name. He is on drugs. He likes to take Oxycotin and Xanax.

This Pizza Hut has a huge problem with drugs. Matt and a handful of other drivers and cooks are the problem. It makes the good drivers look bad. I would be afraid to order pizza from our store. If Preston were to weed out the undesirables he wouldn't get as big of a check because that would cost money.

Jeff Clark lies about his hours every week. He only works about 30 hours a week and Preston knows it. Jeff gets paid every week for 50 hours or better. He is a loser. Jeff and Matt play D&D together. I wish Preston would do something about these problems but he won't. Especially Jeff Clark who is late every day.

Jeff hired a girl named Shannon who is a real freak. Jeff lets her deliver while she is a manager which is against company policy. He let her train as manager while delivering which is also against company. When one of the other drivers asked to train as a manager while delivering they would not let him. He should sue Jeff Clark. I feel sorry for the good employees at Pizza Hut like myself and Aaron and Craig.

It has come to my attention that certain people, at the Hannum St. Pizza Hut, are upset that I would report that drug use goes on. I would just like to say them that if they can prove otherwise, then by all means please file a rebuttal. I can't help it if you are in denial. The restaraunt business has always had it's problems with drug addicts. That's the way it's been in the past and that's the way I'm sure it will continue to be in future.

My point in mentioning drug abuse was to simply state the people like Matt should have been fired along time ago. I want to get one thing straight: I'm not talking about your occassional joint smoker, I'm talking about this new breed of stoner like the pillheads. They think irrationally and when an opportunity arises to get some free money to support their habit, they will make any false accusation against anybody in order to get a fix.

I only metioned the drug situation in order to tye it in with my ordeal and in hopes that this situation will never happen to anybody else. Aaron, your situation happens all the time. Amerihuts structures their corporation so that employees who know right from wrong always remain at the bottom. You should have no problem suing Amerihuts for any backpay. Amerihuts is obligated to pay it regardless of the outcome of your criminal trial. I would just like to say one more thing. The issue was brought up that RGM's lie about the hours of their employees and themselves. This is true. It happens in every store under Amerihuts authority. This is fraud. Plain and simple.

I am a life long resident of Walland in Blount County Tennessee. I have seen the good and bad of our local government. While you have a legitimate issue with how pizza hut is treating you, you should have more of an issue with the District Attorney.



Everyone in this county is entitled to a speedy trial. The fact that our local prosecuter has saw fit to drag this out, just goes to show that they have no case. They know that a judge won't convict you in general sessions court based on what little ecidence theyhave. They want to push up into a grand jury. That way, they have the opportuntiy to sawy a jury and pick the people included in the pool. They wil try to pick people who they think will find you guilty. This is simply wrong. Maybe our local district attoney should remeber that he is an elected official. I think that their terms run for 8 years which is a shame. We need shorter term limits so that we can get people out of office who are so boldly wasting the the time and money of our citizens.

I almost forgot to complain about the pizza hut in Townsend. The customer service is horrible. The food is even worse. The last time we went there we ordered sandwiches. 8 sandwichs to be exact. Evry one of them was frozen solid when we got home. When we called to complain, the tadpole manager told us to thaw them out in the microwave. Can you believ that? I'll never eat at another pizza hut as long as I live.

My new court date is September 9th. I still haven't heard anything from pizza hut concerning my employment. Obviously the offer given to me about coming back to work if I signed a bogus claim was just a ploy to absolve them of any liability. Nice try Pizza Hut. Please keep in mind that AmeriHuts is a Franchisee of Pizza Hut... basically, they pay pizza hut to use the name and products, but the stores are not owned or operated by Pizza Hut, or their parent corporation, Yum! On Friday 6/11/04 i had a meeting with Preston Arnwine. At this point he offered me my job back. The one stipulation was that I sign a form which had a bogus claim in its text. Not that i had done anything wrong, but that i was simply mistaken in going back outside. Obviously Pizza hut doesn't understand how property disputes are handled in this state, nor do they understand just how automobile insurance works when they're not aware of people using their car for delivery purposes.



I want to make one thing clear. I feel that at this point, Pizza Hut is actually making an attempt at finally doing the right thing. This was certainly not the case at the beginning of this fiasco. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure some fruitcake with America Huts could drop the ball at any moment. The only difference at this point in the game is that Pizza Hut knows that i won't be bullied by them or anybody else.



The fact that i was offered my job back really changes the scope of a possible law suit against Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut also offered to pay all my Back-pay pending the outcome of the trial on 6/23/04. That's quit a bit different from what they originally stated. I think the moral of the story is to know your rights as a working man, because your employer most likely doesn't; especially if they are Pizza Hut on Hannum St. in Alcoa, TN.

On 6/5/05, i received a certified letter from Pizza Hut's (American Huts) insurance company somewhere out of Georgia. This letter stated that since this incident happened while i was on the clock, they would be handling all claims from the accuser and that if they saw fit to pay off this little freak then it is just tough luck for me. This is typical rhetoric that i have grown accustomed to from Pizza Hut.



Pizza Hut in the course of pushing an overpriced product, have created a situation that is not conducive to the safety of its drivers. My meaning is this: Pizza Hut has given so much free food away to people who are undeserving that the time has come that everyone is wanting something for free. These trashy folks will do anything including defaming a driver for no reason in order to get a free pie. On several occasions, I have informed Pizza Hut that calling in a bogus report on a driver is defamation and is ultimately prosecutable. Doesn't matter though... Pizza Hut has their own socialist policies created by overzealous marketers and other corporate fruitcakes who have never had the misfortune of working as a delivery driver.



With all due repect, Pizza Hut has been informed by my attorney that we don't need any of their help. These folks evidentally don't understand that I'm suing them too. After having time to consult with my attorney, we have decided to go after Pizza Hut for everything that they're worth. Employers like this (Pizza Hut) should never be allowed to conduct business in the manner that has become acceptable. I honestly feel as though our state government doesn't realize what's going on in the resteraunt business, especially delivery.



All of the good jobs have been replaced by entry level work with foreigned-owned companies. These companies bring their own upper level people with them. The general population of this state is simply looked at as a cheap and uneducated work force. Most of these companies are exempt from having to pay local property taxes and they receive other underhanded incentives, while my family whose been in this state for 7 generations gets nothing but poor roads and over-zealous law enforcement.



I don't mean to ramble.... but it's important that people understand that all the good jobs are leaving here and going to Mexico. The only option is service industry jobs such as the restaraunt business or entry-level positions with foreign owned companies for little money. You see, very few people move from these entry level positions unless they are able to prove their wothiness to the company by doing something underhanded to their fellow Tennesseans.



I will not turn my back on this state. I will not turn my back on my community and allow Pizza Hut to operate using these tyrannical practices. I've said it before and I'll say it again: no corporate policy ever overides RIGHT and Wrong, especially when this policy violates state law.



I have been in contact with several local state representatives who have showed legitimate concern for this situation. Maybe by the time that I talk with Governor's Office, he and his cabinet will be expecting me. I will be sure and let you folks know how this goes.



Tennesse is known as the Volunteer state in case you didn't know. I have a lot of history here. I don't endorse any university anymore due to their lack of concern for their students who are actually from here. I feel a sense of duty at this point in my life to right a few wrongs. This duty starts with companies like Pizza Hut. Things will either change, meaning you will have no policies which violate our state and local laws, or you can get the hell out of this state. Afterall, you have to live by the same laws the rest of us do.
