I am writing for my brother who is totally disabled and paralyzed after a stroke. Pressler & Pressler (P&P) kept calling and harrassing him about an old CitiBank MasterCard account. Even though we sent copies of insurance paperwork saying the balance was paid in full, P&P filed suit for $6,900. The beginning balance in 12/2002 was $6,200. The card was never used again from that point. The insurance company paid the minimum payments for 3 years totalling $6,304.13. It appears that CitiBank applied the $150-$190 minimum payment made by their disability insurer each month to $60 for CreditShield insurance premium and the balance to the 31.99% interest they imposed, so that 3 years down the line, they say he owes more than the balance due from the date of disability, even though they got $6,300 in payments from the insurance! P&P filed numerous motions , i.e. claiming failure to answer interrogatories, trying to get summary judgement, etc. Legal aid is too busy to help. It's impossible to keep up. They are scum!

These f_ _ _ ers are going down. I have spent the last 2 weeks on this computer and on the phone with officials from the great (ha ha) state of New Jersey. I am so ANGRY. I only take breaks for food and a couple hours of sleep a night. I know this sounds insane but I have become obsessed with bringing these people to justice. I can't enjoy life anymore. When I wake up I make coffee and then run to the computer to jump right back into the never ending nightmare named Pressler & Pressler. I will not rest until they are stopped and hurting like all of us. I don't spend anytime with my family anymore. Once in a while I will see my daughter and say "hi" and how was your day? blah blah blah for 5 min then I 'm like "sorry got get back to the case" Everyone is on their own for breakfast lunch and dinner. It's a good thing my youngest is 17 yrs old. Anyway I have report P&P to everyone I can think of from Trenton to Washington DC. We must work together to get them disbarred and in jail where they belong. Why are the courts letting them do this???? I just don't get it. They have a judgment against me for $800+ for an old Lowes account. I called Lowe's and said I use to have a credit card with you and owed you $325.00 and then I lost my job. They said they never heard of New Century Financial or Pressler & Pressler and they don't have permission to act on their behalf. So clearly P&P are lying and they ran a credit report on me on March 23, and saw I had a charge off on Lowe's so they "claimed" it as theirs. I mean come on. I want to see the contract I signed with P&P, if not I want to see the receipt from Lowes when they "bought" it. They can't produce either. They are nothing more than common thieves. I am filing a motion to vacate the judgment and I am filing an answer in part citing the 15 USC 1692i, 812 Furnishing certain deceptive forms. (a) It is unlawful blah blah blah. Read it. Also the para above it. It states right in it that Nothing in this title shall be construed to authorize the bringing of legal actions by debt collectors. Also reak the whole consumer act Federal and State and you can beat them with the info in there and keep asking for appeals or ask for more time, the judge has to let you. Good Luck
