I filed a report with the F.B.I., The Florida Attorney General, abd the Dept. Of Agrigculture and Consumer Affairs. These were the 3 places I was told to report Prestige Timeshare ripping me and other people off. The response from the F.B.I. was that they did not have any open cases on these people. I find that hard to believe after all the people on this site who have said that they talked to the F.B.I.. As far as the Attny. General, he did respond back with a statement that basically said they received my report, and they are looking for others like it. I have not heard from the Dept. Of Agric. either. What needs to happen is that everyone of us has to send a report to all 3 of these agencies and then they might do someting. To get to the Attny. General, go to www.myfloridalegal.com and click on the upper right hand corner where it says to link to the Atty. General. To get to the F.B.I., you can call them @ 305-944-9101 or go to www.miami@ic.fbi.gov. To get to the Dept. of Agric. google Florida Dept. of Agric. and file your complaint there.

It looks like stength in numbers is the only thing that is going to take these people down, so I ask that everyone who has been affected to please tskr the above steps.

This is what the Attny. General sent me:

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum has received your email regarding your concerns with Prestige Timeshare Marketing. Attorney General McCollum asked that I respond.

Our office reviews complaints to develop information about patterns of questionable business activities. We will keep your correspondence for future reference. Please note that our office does not
mediate individual consumer complaints. We are forwarding your correspondence to the Attorney General's Economic Crime section for review. What action, if any, this office may take is unknown at this time. Please note this office does not mediate individual consumer

Update to Prestige Timeshare also ripping me off

AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 10, 2008

I recieved a packet from the Florida Agirgculture Dept. and Consumer Affairs and they also sent a copy of the complaint to Prestige. I sent them the affadavit they wanted me to fill out, a copy of the original contract, a copy of the changed contract that Prestige sent me ( had a lot of words left out ) and a copy of my bank statement showing them that I had paid Prestige my 399.00 down deposit.

I hope to hear something from them, and when I do I will update this report. The letter they sent me sounded like they were really interested in investigating these people.

Larry Lewisville, Texas
