I stopped at a traffic light in Hickory Hills, IL. A man pulled up next to me driving a blue Ford Explorer with an IL tag # of A645506. He said his name was Josh and he asked if I wanted to buy a home entertainment system at a good price. Like an idiot I asked to see it. After telling me that his boss would keep it for himself if he returned to the shop with it I offered him $200 for his supposed $4000 system. He agreed and the deal was made.
I returned home and checked this site out www.genesismedialabs.com. The site is a toal scam itself. There is no call back numbers etc. Then curiousity got the best of me. I searched the net and found that there are hundreds of these types of complaints going around.
I just can't believe that I am a Police Officer and I fell for this crap!
I do have the guys info and plan on visiting him tomorrow to settle this with a full refund!
