Based on subject matter, I'm not sure why I ever would have agreed to these subscriptions, but International Credit Recovery Inc. was sure to tell me that I'd given Progressive "personal" information and if these weren't paid it would go against my personal credit as well as my company.
Today I called Progressive and verified that there are no more subscriptions lurking out there. I was assured that there were not....we'll see.
IMHO, telemarketing should be outright BANNED. The vast majority of these companies use this type of underhanded tactics. Both of the companies aforementioned have an "F" rating with the BBB.
